~Isabella POV~

11 years. That's how long it's been since my life was easy and normal. October 27th 2005. The last day I was truly happy.

October 27th 2005

I was so happy. My family and me were going on a camping trip in the Woods of Daisy nook in Greater Manchester. It was me, my twin brother Johnathon, my 3 year old sister Lexi as well as my mother and father. This was the last day we would all be happy.

"Are you excited kids?" My lovable and caring mother asked us from the front seat.

"Very!" Me and Johnathon squealed but Lexi just nodded her head weakly.

"Honey i think we're lost." My funny and trustworthy father said with a sigh.

"Look." My mother said and pointed to a small building with two very big and menacing men inside, "Maybe they know the way. Shall we ask them?" My father didn't look to happy with asking for directions from someone else but still got out of the car with my mother holding his hand.

They walked into the building and were talking to one of the men while the other carried on cleaning the rifle he had in his hands. The weird think was that while he was cleaning the gun he was staring into the car. He started and me and Lexi manly but i just thought he was interested in who was left in the car. As logical as that sounds the one thing i couldn't figure out was why he had a menacing smile on his face and why it sent a shiver down my spine. The smile only grew bigger when my mother pointed to the car. It was official; these men scared me -and nothing does that-.

After what felt like forever (but was probably only a few minutes) my parents got into the care again.

"And we're off." My father said as he started the car.

~That night~

For the rest of the we played games and set up our camp gear oblivious of what was in our future. Unfortunately, It was finally time to go bed now so as my mother sang us our special lullaby she always did i felt my eyes grow heavy as i slipped into a dreamless sleep.

After what felt like no time I was woken by an ear splitting scream. My mother's scream.

"P...Pl...Please leave u...us alone!" She (my mother) pleaded to the man who towered over her with a rifle in his hand.

I closed my eyes tight as Johnathon ans Lexi clung to my small 6 year old body as if I could protect them. A loud band rand in my ears and the pleads of my mother were cut short.

"Please do-" Johnathon never got to finish his sentence before another out bang sounded and his body went limp next to mine.

I opened my eyes to look at the monster. He had brown hair with quite a few grey strands mixed in making it look like salt and pepper hair; all black cloths covered with red splatters all over them.

"Why are you doing this?!" I screamed but he just held the gun up again and another loud bang sounded before Lexi's body also went limp on mine.

I tried to run for the entrance of the tent but he was faster and caught me. I tried to break free of his deadly grasp but he just pushed me into the corner of the tent. Another loud band rang throughout my head. I was in pain for a split second before everything went black.

Present Day

My eyes started to water at the memory of the last day I had with my family. My father was blamed for killing them and then himself but he never had a beard. The real killer is still out there but no one will listen to me. All they say is that it's a 6 year old mind trying to cope.
