The School Attack

      Quentin looked around the room as he heard the sound of moth wings. He slowly backed out of the room and ran to Alice's room. "Alice!" He entered her room to find her body on her bed with blood everywhere. Quentin ran down the hall to Penny's room. He was wandering back and forth with his hands on his head. "Penny! Stop! Come with me." He grabbed his hand and across Penny's forehead was a cut. Penny yelled, "Shut up!" and slipped his blood soaked hand out of Quentin's grip. Quentin tried to grab Penny's hand but every time he tried Penny would move closer and closer to the dresser. Then Penny grabbed the knife on the top of the dresser and tried to stab Quentin but then turned the knife around and stabbed himself. Quentin ran out of the room. He stopped in his tracks as he heard the moth wings again, but they were in front of him. Eliot ran past him with no clothes on, screaming something intelligent. Then the beast showed up next to him. "You are next!"

     Quentin woke up in a cold sweat. Alice was asleep next to him, fast asleep. He takes her in his arms and kisses her head. "Good Morning." she looked at him and blinked the sleep out of her eyes, "What's wrong?" Quentin was shaking slightly and still a little damp. Alice looked into his eyes, "What is it Quentin?" Quentin got up and walked into the bathroom and showered without a word. When he exited the bathroom he walked into an empty room. "Alice. Where are you?" She was standing in the hall looking out the window at the morning sky. Quentin wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her on the cheek. Penny walked into the hall. "Enough you too." They all went down to their first classes. Quentin didn't stay up very long after the class started.

       He started out running through the woods. The sound of moth wings grew louder and louder. He ran into a wall and when he turned around he saw the Beast running after him. His hands were twitching and he was mumbling a spell under his breath. Quentin feels his lungs fill moths and he starts to choke. Quentin wakes up on the floor and he was unable to catch his breath. "Get the nurse!!!" one of the students yelled.

       In the hospital, Quentin received medication to help his breath. "What happened?" the nurse asked him when he came to. Quentin stayed quiet. Quentin heard that familiar terrifying sound once more. "Move!" he said as he tried to push pass the nurse. She tried to lay him back in bed but then her neck snapped. He got up and ran out of the hospital. Alice, Penny, Eliot, and Margo were all standing outside the hospital. When they also hear the moth's horrible wings, they ran to Quentin's room. First Eliot dropped and screamed with tears of blood running down his cheeks. They all ran closer to the dorms and grabbed all the vials with strings attached to go around there necks. They bottled up their emotions quickly and ran back outside. Alice shot battle magic towards the beast. In the middle of one of her spells she froze. Penny and Margo froze as well, which left Quentin free to move, but every single spell he attempted just bounced off of the beast. The beast walked closer to Quentin. Quentin looked at the beast as a small shot of magic was shot at him. The vial broke and all of Quentin's emotions flooded back into him. Instead of falling into depression, Quentin stood tall and looked the beast in the eyes. The beast said something that only Quentin heard and left.

      His friends were freed and Quentin dropped to his knees. "The beast will be back," Quentin said through his tears," and we will be ready. He said one week." They all swallowed their emotions and went to find Eliot. He was laying in a pile of blood in the grass, still alive, barely. Alice broke his vial and made him take it, which woke him up and they all started to weep.
