Unfamiliar colours, sensations, washed over me. Who was I? Where was I? I was losing myself. All I saw around me was a cold blankness. The only thing I remembered was extreme pain, and loss. Loss! I had friends, people who depended on me, but they were dead. Their names, what were they? Ra-rai-raichu! I remember him now, the texture of his soft fur. Marowak! The other one. Was I dead? I materialized in a wide field, but before I could explore a tower materialized as well. No lights hung on the walls, but I could see. I stared through a window to see a Dusknoir tapping away on a keyboard. I knocked on the glass but garnered no attention from the Dusknoir. Dusknoir? How did I know that name? The door behind me opened and a young Pokémon trainer stepped in. "Why the hell did I let my friends talk me into going to lavender town" she muttered as she creeped through the doorway. I stepped closer, hoping she could answer my questions. "Hello" I said through the darkness. The girl's face twisted into an expression of horror and she began backing out from where she came. I stepped after her and knocked down a lamp, which shattered on the floor. The girl spun around and bolted out the doorway. Why was she afraid of me? Wasn't I human. I had lost so much of myself. I needed time alone, and luckily this place seemed to be silent for miles around.
