Jail broke

Monday, April 12th 2017-9:00am

Dear paper,

It's been 5 months since I've seen home and all I think about is home, my mom and if she's doing alright, she's mad at me for being here but I know she loves me and well for dad he's not impressed about this. I haven't seen him since he came to the first visit and let's just stay it didn't end to well because it ended up with him yelling at me and mom crying to the security guard about letting me go. Now your probably wondering how I got here and most of my family is, dads saying I'm in the Caribbean with aunt Mandy and mom who knows what she's telling them But anyway it all started when my x-friend Ashton started bullying me and she punched me and I punched back and ending up with her in worse condition Then me so I got caught and the cops brought us here.. I haven't seen Ashton since they split us up but I will be today since I'm being let out.

I chucked the paper under the bed, I kept logs of what I did everyday so one day someone would understand my side of the story, the girls here thought it was a good idea so they started too.

"Your Sydney right?" The officer claimed

"Yes sir"

"Follow me, your parents are here" he said raising his eyebrow and hand cuffing me. He walked me to the exit as I saw my mom in front of the jeep, the office un cuffed me as he dropped a huge pile of paper in my moms hands.

"You'll need to return those in a week or so" he said as he turned and walked away

"Get in" she said
I nodded and followed her in the car, it feels weird being back home, I can just imagine what school will be like.

"I'm glad your back home" she said smiling

"Yeah, me too" I say looking out the window

That's when my heart started to beat fast, my forehead started to sweat and my hands, my mom could feel my tense.

"Sweetie I know your nervous but you need to breathe, your father won't be mad at you we talk and everything is fine" she said

"Fine .. I don't know mom , I'm just scared"

We pulled up to the house as 3 cars were parked, dads, my brothers and the third car I didn't recognize.

"Were home" mom shouted

"Sydney" my brother ran over saying as he gave me hug

"Hey, Max" I smiled

"I'm glad your home" he said

"Me too"

I sat on the couch next to my mom as dad was in front of me, he shoot me a look as he began to talk.

"Just cause your home doesn't mean your free" he spoke angrily

"Jim" my mom yelled

"What? She put a kid in a coma Julie, your ground for 3 months so straight home after school every day until other wise"

"Yeah, cause he's totally not mad mom , thanks for lying" I said stomping up to my room

I hate my dad being mad, but it's gonna take time till he gets over the fact that it was self defence.. I didn't mean to hurt Ashton I really didn't.

"Sydney?" My brother spoke

"What?"

"I brought you dinner" he said placing it on my desk

"Do you think I did it on purpose?" I ask

"Did what?" He questioned

"Punching back and putting Ashton .. you know?"

"No, I know your not like that!" He said

"Thanks" I say smiling

"For?"

"Believing in me when nobody else would" I say as he smiles and closing my door.

I ate my dinner , then got into the bed and fell asleep around 11:30pm .

Tuesday , April 13th , 2017 - 7:30 am

I wake up to sound of trains driving by, I love the sound of Chicago in the morning but sometimes it's annoying as hell

"Sydney your gonna be late for school" my mom yelled

"Coming"

I got up and brushed my teeth, I still have bruised arms from jail .. some of the kids get ruff , I don't think my friends will talk to me so I'm gonna have to make new ones I mean it's the first day back for everyone so they'll be other new kids too.

"Sydney lets go"

"Alright , alright" I yelled

I ran down stairs and grabbed a banana from the pantry and headed out the door and hopped in the back with my brother.

"Finally" he laughed

"Shut up" I laughed

"Language" my dad yelled

"She was just joking Jim" my mom said

"I don't care , she's 16 using that voice, no wonder she got put in jail" he yelled

"DAD! , I'm 16 not a damn kid anymore so stop being a damn asshole to me" I yelled

"She has a point" my brother laughed

We arrived at school, I quickly got out the car with my brother and they drove off.

"That was ruff" I said

"He started it" he laughed

"I'm scared to go to class Max" I said

"You'll be fine sis, just try to make at least one friend and don't worry about your old jerk ones" he said walking in the school

"Catch you later" I said

"Cya"

I walked down the hall looking for my locker, I could feel my heart beating in fear, I knew this day wasn't going to be good, I arrived at my locker #205 right beside some beat up locker.

"Are you new?" A voice spoke

"Uh me?" I asked

"Yeah , you look confused and lost" the voice laughed

"You read my mind then" I smiled

"I'm Tyler" he smiled

"Sydney, you new as well?" I asked

"How'd you know? They gave me the shit locker but I guess the bonus is a pretty girl next to me" he laughed

"That was smooth , anyway I need to get to room 18 for English , what you got ?"

"Same thing, I found it early so I'll show you" he said as we walked down the hall. We reached the class and we walked in.
