Spirk Fluff Oneshots

Purr...

  "Spock?"

  "Yes Captain?"

  "I've heard some rumors going around about Vulcan's."

  "What exactly did you hear?"

  "Nothing specific....but i'd like to try something...."

  "What do you want to try?"

  "Do you think I could touch your ears?"

  "I see no reason as to why I should not allow you."

Jim leans over and lightly rubs the back of Spock's ear. Spock begins to purr lightly a few minutes later.

  "Spock! You purr?!"

Spock jumps back in confusion.

  "T-that was an illogical response to having my ears r-rubbed."

  "I didn't mind at all."

Jim reaches over and begins rubbing again, both ears this time. Spock leans into the touch, and purrs louder.

  "Spock, are you sure Vulcan's are related to cats?" 

Spock attempts to form a clear sentence. He finally manages to sputter out

"That.....that is an illogical assumption of my species."

"I love you Spock"

"I love you too  Cap-Jim"
