" Ms.Heathers, nice of you to finally join us." The teacher sassed, pointing at the clock, showing me that im five minutes late.

" She was too busy cutting herself." Some kid sneered. More like i was too busy getting pushed around

" Ignore them Raine." Kat whispered to me. The teacher did nothing regarding the cutting comment.

Aren't teachers supposed to help targets of bullying? Isn't she supposed to help troubled kids? Well, i don't want her help anyways.

The best of us can find happiness in misery, as the great song says.

I don't like to think of myself as emo, but that didn't stop everyone else.

Through, whatever class this was, i doodled in the book in which i was supposed to take notes in. A couple of pictures of my bullies burning in hell may have starred in the book.

I went through the first half of my classes without a single clue as to what my lessons were. It was a mystery how  i managed to get A's and B's.

Both my favorite and least favorite class, lunch, was finally here.

Kat and I approached our group, the other social rejects. This  group, two girls and three guys, consisted of Kat, Me, Tristan, Lucas, and Roman.

I simply nodded a hello to them as we sadly sank into the benches of the square table.

" Do you ever speak!" Roman yelled, a little irritated. I simply shrugged and pulled out a big bag of chips that we all ate out of.

Im quiet only in school; at home im far too loud for my neighbor's enjoyment.

" Why are you so pissed off?" I asked, noticing the poor crushed potato chip mountain forming under his fist.

" Why do you think?" He snapped.

Just then, a group of jocks came over to our table, to comment on our existance.

" AW, wittle Rwoman not enjowying himself?" He asked, as if he was mocking a two year old.

I could see his form tense up and the jock continued to laugh at him.

" What's wrong? Any of those jerks giving my little buddy trouble?" He teased as if they were friends, and rubbed his knuckle all over Roman's hair.

" Fuck off." Lucas said, proud of himself. He shouldn't have said that. How unfortunate he did.

Without a word, one of them hurled a bulky fist into Lucas' eye.

" See ya later buddies." They patted Roman's head, and left. The cruelty sent shivers down my body.

" FuckTwad!" I shouted after them. They just turned to give what they thought was a threatening look.

I turned back around to see that they were attacking a new kid. I couldn't see his/her face, but by the names i heard, s/he was one of us.

Probably some new kid.

" So guys, did you hear the new Anthrax song that was put up today?" Tristan changed the subject.

" Yea! Hella good." Lucas cracked a smile.

" And, Raine...." Kat started, and judging by the tone, she had a plan that would get me in a shitload of trouble.

" No." I cut her off, not even caring to hear the rest of it.

" BUT YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT." She whined.

" Doesn't matter. It's going to be a horrible idea with no good plan, resulting either me saving the day, or getting grounded." I said stubbornly.

" Anthrax is stopping in town for a concert they agreed to do at central park! Its on the website! It states that their bus broke down, and they're staying here for a couple days, and fixing it!!" She shoved her phone in my face, showing the post on their website.

" So." I shrugged it off, trying my best to keep my compsure.

" Don't you want to go!?! They're only here because their tour bus broke down in the middle of the night! This may never happen again! Why else would they be here, in New Jersey!?! You're GOING!" She screamed, tugging my arm.

" It also states, in that article you're flaunting around, that the gig is eighteen and up." I said smartly

As i did, a smile creeped through her face.

" NO. We are NOT sneaking our way in! I don't want to get into more trouble!" I yelled.

Im a good girl, it's how i was raised. My father taught me that all i'd ever be good for is taking orders. And my orders were to be a good girl who didn't rebel against her father, or law.

" But we're close enough! Who cares! It's not like anyone's going to notice! Its only a couple years off, Ray." She crossed her arms.

" No." I said firmly.

Throughout lunch, she kept trying to persuade me into going. It WAS Anthrax that's coming. And they may NEVER come by in this town again. Plus, we ARE only a couple years too young, right?

Just when i was going to give up, the bell rang, reminding me that i shouldn't.

" No." I sighed, walking away.

I really didn't want to that much anyways :/
