I woke up in the middle of the night to hear Lemon coughing a lot. I slid out of bed and grabbed my cane and walked over to him. I handed him my handkerchief and he held it over his mouth as he coughed. I noticed it start to turn slightly red. Lemon continued coughing and I told him to try sitting up. He sat up and I noticed his nose was bleeding. He stopped coughing after he sat up and he gently held the handkerchief to his nose. "Oh thank god," I said as I breathed a sigh of relief. "What," Lemon said. "Nothing, I was just worried for a second when you coughed up blood, normally that is very, very bad, but you're fine, your bloody nose was likely just draining down your throat because you were laying down, but now the blood is draining from your nose instead, which isn't much better, but at least you aren't dying," I said. "Keep holding that to your nose and if the bleeding doesn't stop within about half an hour then wake me up, okay?" I said, handing him my pocket watch. I went back to bed, only to be awoken by Lemon gently nudging me awake. "The bleeding still hasn't stopped and I feel kinda lightheaded," Lemon said quietly, handing me my pocket watch. I carefully slid out of bed and bolted on my leg and arm. I pulled on my boots and Lemon grabbed his shoes as well and followed me out to my car. He sat down in the passenger seat and buckled himself in. I drove him to a doctor's office (or clinic whatever you want to call it.) and brought him inside. I sat down and handed him a bottle of water. The doctor came into the room. "So, what is the problem again?" The doctor asked. "My nose won't stop bleeding and I feel lightheaded," Lemon said. They cauterized the inside of his nose and told him to try not to bump it or scratch it and sent us on our way. (You may be wondering why I wrote this, I don't know either, this is what came out of notes for a chapter where I was going to kill him off, but I couldn't bring myself to do it after all.) I gently scratched his head and we drove back home. Lemon fell asleep in my car and I gently carried him to his bed and left him to sleep. I made breakfast and everybody else woke up and came into the kitchen. Royal, Kashou, Ox and I all decided to go somewhere today, leaving Shigure, Ms. Minaduki, and the catgirls to run the shop. Royal called a friend of his by the name of Cross to come join us. I used my phone to view a security camera in the shop, checking in on everything every once in a while. Everything was going fine until he walked into the shop. Someone walked in holding a handgun. "It's okay people I'm just here for a couple people, these two in particular," He said, pointing a gun at Coconut and Vanilla. Raven walked up to try and stop him and he shot her in the leg. I put my phone back in my pocket. "We need to go, now," I said. We all drove back to the shop as quickly as we could. I grabbed my .45 and tossed it to Royal and Ox pulled a handgun out of his pocket. I handed Kashou a pair of brass knuckles. We all walked in the front door of the shop. "Ah, just in time to watch me kidnap your girls," The guy said. I shot him in the kneecap. He cursed as he fell to the ground. I shot him in his other knee and he blacked out. I dragged him outside to the back of the shop and Royal shot him a couple times and we all beat him up until he wasn't much more than a bloody pulp. After we beat him half to death Cross got an ambulance and took him away. I snapped back to reality and rushed back inside to check on Raven. She was on the floor bleeding, groaning in pain every now and then. I cleaned up the bullet hole and bandaged her up. Royal hugged Coconut and tried to settle her down. Raven groaned in pain again. I finished patching her up and gave her some painkillers. I gently carried her upstairs and then cleaned up the blood and everyone went back to what they were doing while Vanilla nuzzled up against my chest. I gently stroked her head in an attempt to calm her down. She fell asleep and I brought her upstairs to sleep for a while. I checked on Raven. "How are you feeling?" I asked. "It still hurts, but the bleeding stopped and the painkillers definitely helped," Raven said. "Good, you should be healed up in about 2 weeks, and hey, it's just another scar to add to the collection," I said. I was bored and felt like trying out different kinds of racing. I went out and bought 2 RX7s like the one Ox had sitting in the garage. and went to the shop where I had gone for the parts for Raven's car and mine. "Back again huh? What can I get you today?" The person standing by the cash register said. I told him what I was looking for. I got all the parts and handed the clerk the money for them. I grabbed some purple paint and some crimson paint. I painted purple flames on mine, the same as I had on my Camaro, and painted Crimson flames on Raven's. Royal walked into the garage. "God damn you bought two! How bottomless is your wallet?" Royal said. "Don't tell Raven, also, my retirement plan has me being paid by the government, I used to be a soldier, what do you expect?" I said. I finished painting Raven's car and let it dry. After the paint dried I moved it into the shop's garage next to Raven's Camaro and threw a tarp over it. (Fast forward one month.) I grabbed the keys for Raven's new RX7 and tied a small ribbon around the keyring. Raven was feeling much better and had healed up just fine. I gently pressed the keys into her hand and she smiled. She walked into the garage with me and saw hers parked right next to her Camaro. "If I got myself one, it's only fair if you got one too eh?" I said. Raven hugged me and examined the car. "I also put a compressor in your Camaro and both our RX7s, it makes the horn super loud like the one in my Camaro," I said. "Sounds like the perfect opportunity to sneak up on someone and scare the crap out of them," Raven said. "That's the point," I said with a snicker. "I had been thinking about trying out drifting, so this is perfect," Raven said. "There's a drifting event next week, so you've got a while to sharpen your skills," I told Raven. She nodded and I told her where a good track was. "Be back before dinner please," I said. She nodded and hopped in her RX7 and drove off. (Fast forward a week.) I woke up and made breakfast for everyone and I heard Karol's car pull into the shop's garage and she came upstairs. "Hey Qrow, this is for Raven," Karol said, handing me a Rogue Speed jacket and grabbing a plate of food. Everyone else woke up and walked into the kitchen. I handed Raven her new Rogue Speed jacket. "Thank you, Karol," Raven said with a smile. "No problem, after all, you're a well-recognized member of Rogue Speed now," Karol said. Everyone ate breakfast and everyone changed into their racing suits. We all drove to the event. When we got there Ox was talking with another racer as Raven and I walked over. "Hey guys, I don't believe you've met Aki before. Qrow, this is Aki," Ox said. "Nice to meet you," Raven and I said. Aki took off her helmet. Raven and I pulled off ours. "You two have quite a family resemblance," Aki said. "This is Raven, my daughter," I said. "Nice to meet you," Aki said. She looked over at our cars. "Wow, even your cars are the same," Aki said. They started calling out racers. Raven and I figured out a nickname. Her nickname would be Bluefeather. (I'm not very creative, it was that or Venna and this sounded better although it's so similar to Blackfeather.) After the event we went back to the shop. I gave Raven a fist bump. "Nice job," I said. "Likewise," Raven replied. The next day Parrish drove into the garage with a girl sitting on the passenger side of the car. She stepped out and I noticed... It couldn't be... "This is Ahri," Parrish said. "Wait... A Nine-tailed fox?!" I said, stepping behind Ahri. "Yes, I'm a real Nine-tailed Fox," Ahri said. "Are Nine-tailed foxes especially rare or something?" Parrish asked. "Nevermind a gold mine, you've found a ravine full of pure platinum," I said. "Ahri's likely the only one in existence at the moment, aside from me, but that's only factoring in my strange ability to shapeshift. Seeing as the scientists were only able to create kitsunes even HALF as easily as they could us nekos recently, so an actual Nine-tailed fox... Take good care of her, or I'll snap your neck," I muttered. "Thanks for the warning..." Parrish said nervously as he slowly stepped away from me. A few weeks later we were informed of another event going on. I was relaxing for a while and pulled out a few cans of spray paint. I pulled out my combat knives and brought all the stuff outside. I put some tape over the blade and the hilt of each knife and painted them black. I left them to dry for a while, then came back and grabbed a smaller knife and made a flame stencil for the flames to extend along the spine of the blade, not quite going to the point of the knife. I painted one of the knives with purple flames and the other with crimson flames. I let them dry again and grabbed the sheaths for the knives. I pondered what to do with them, whether to sew a cool design on them or to leave them the way they were when the timer on my phone went off and I went back outside and pulled out a can of clear coat. I sprayed it over the now dry layers of paint on the knives and once it dried I removed the tape from the blade and hilt of the knives. The paint worked perfectly, it looked awesome and the tape made it so that the blade of the knives didn't get any paint on them, retaining the shiny and very sharp edge's original silver color, mostly because if I painted the blade as well it would just come off when I sharpened the knives. I made lunch for everyone and realized how packed the apartment above the shop had become. Between Kashou, Chocola, Vanilla, Royal, Ox, Parrish, Gold, Himari, Ahri, Lemon, Raven, and I, the apartment was getting loaded. I hugged Vanilla and after lunch, I handed Raven the knife I had painted with the crimson flames and passed her the sheath as well. "Flashy," Raven said with a smirk, sheathing the knife. Lemon seemed like he felt left out. "Hey, Lemon," I said, pulling out a few stacks of cash, flipping through them. "Do you want to try racing?" I asked. He practically jumped on me. "Yes!" He replied. "What kind of car might you want?" I asked. He said he wanted a Zonda R. "While I'm at it would you like me to get you a car as well Vanilla?" I asked. "I'll get back to you when I think of one," She said. I took Lemon out to go looking for a car. We found one and went to buy it. It was 226,155,000 Yen. (2mil. USD) I paid for it with my credit card because I knew if I handed that guy that much in cash he'd be calling down a police officer to check if it was real, counterfeit, or stolen. We drove the car home and on my way back we talked about if he wanted it painted. He said he wanted it painted black with neon green blood splatter designs. We got his car home and I checked the time. I got a text from Karol as I heard rain start to pour so extremely hard if you stood outside you'd be soaked to the bone immediately, the event was rescheduled for tomorrow. I painted Lemon's car and asked Karol where she got our racing suits. "I make them myself, why?" Karol texted. "I need one for Lemon, same as mine, but neon green flames, please, also for being hand made they're amazing, they look like you had them custom made in a factory," I replied. "Thank you," She replied. I texted her all the necessary measurements and stuck my phone back in my pocket. Royal saw Lemon's car. "It looks like you ran over a Xenomorph with it," Royal said with a snicker. Lemon grinned at his joke. The next day Karol came over and gave Lemon his racing suit. I adjusted the straps for my knife's sheath so that it hung at my side like a sword and Raven did the same with hers. After lunch, Raven, Lemon, and I changed into our racing suits and drove to the event. Raven and I continued winning races and Lemon seemed to catch someone's eye as well. None other than Nate Denver. He challenged Lemon.

(Lemon's perspective)

I lined up at the starting line with them.

3... You can do this

2... Blaze down the track

1... Show you're the best

GO!

And blaze down the track I did. I had done it, I beat Nate.

(Qrow's perspective)

They handed Lemon a contract. "Can I?" Lemon asked me. "Go ahead," I said with a grin. Someone came along with a top notch camera. "Who's that?" Lemon asked. "He's the photographer who works for the company that makes our posters," One of them said. I gently nudged Karol. "Do you have something like that?" I asked. "What? Oh of course we do, I haven't seen him in a while... Speak of the devil," Karol said as someone walked over. "Sorry, my schedule's been a bit tied up," He said. At the end of the event, we drove home and took some time to relax. A few hours later a postman came with a small box full of rolled up posters. I took the box and headed back upstairs. I unrolled each one. There was a really wide Rogue Speed poster with all of us on it. (As in Karol, Royal, Coconut, Qrow, and Raven, and their main cars.) Then there were individual posters as well. I continued through the posters. There were a few Touge Union posters, one for Aki, one for Ox, one for Azuki, and to finish it off, two Box Cut posters, one for Cinnamon, and one for Lemon. I looked in the bottom of the box, there was also a Box Cut jacket inside with Lemon's name on it. I rolled up the posters, sticking them back in the box, and handed Lemon the jacket. I went out and bought frames for the posters and came back. I asked Kashou if there was a wall I could hang these on in the shop downstairs. "The one on the right when you come in the shop should work fine," Kashou said. I grabbed a screw gun and then hung up the framed posters on each of the screws, except for the wide Rogue Speed poster which would go upstairs. I put the screw gun back in the garage and pulled out some sticky tack which I used to stick the poster to the wall above the couch in the living room. Not much else unusual happened after that.
