Chapter 1
Nadeshi Point of View
"Hello?"
"Sino yan?" I asked.
"Wait here." He mouthed and walks off. Hindi niya ako sinagot. (_ _")
Tiningnan ko lang si kuya, naglalakad papalayo sa akin at sa ingay. Pinilit ko na mag-enjoy sa panunuod pero ilang minuto na yung lumipas hindi parin bumabalik si kuya.
Napilitan ako na sundan siya. Lumabas ako ng pub at naabutan ko siya naglalakad na pabalik.
"Sino yung kausap mo?" I asked. Imbes na sagutin niya ako, hinila ako ni kuya palayo sa pub.
"H-Hey! Where are we going?" I asked again. Naiinis na ako! Hindi niya sinasagot ang lahat ng tanong ko tapos kakaladkarin niya ako--god knows where. "Bitiwan mo ako kuya! Bakit ba ayaw mo mag-salita?!" I exclaimed.
Hindi parin siya nag-salita. Ano ba ang problema ng tao na ito?! Hindi naman siya ganito kanin-after lang nung phone call!
Something is wrong with him after the call. Hindi kaya si lolo ang tumawag? Nahuli na ba kami ni ojii-san?
"Aniki. Aniki!" I yelled. Finally! Huminto din siya sa paglalakad pero hindi parin niya binibitawan ang braso ko. "Let go of my arm, I can walk on my own you know." I said sarcastically.
He didn't let go. Nagpatuloy siya sa paglalakad at hinihila ako. Hindi ko alam kung matatawa o maiinis ako. Bingi ba siya? Malinaw naman ang sinabi ko ah!
Nakaka-ubos na ng pasensya! I pull my arm on his grip. Luckily, hindi niya inaasahan ang gagawin ko kaya nabitawan niya ang braso ko.
I start to walk in a different direction. Babalik na lang ako sa pub.
"W-Wait Nadeshi!" Naramdaman ko ang pagdampi ng kamay niya sa braso ko, pero naka-ilag ako agad.
I frown to him.
"Back off." I warned. He's getting into my nerves and it is not a good thing and he knows that when I'm pissed no one can stop me from going into berserk.
"Okay, I'll back off but promise you'll listen to me." He said. My jaw almost drops. Is it what I am asking him for god knows how many times?! Is this guy is still sane?!
"Are you kidding me?! I've been asking you what the hell is wrong and then you'll ask me to listen?! Asshole!" Hindi ko mapigilan na sigawan siya sa sobrang inis. Gustong-gusto ko na talaga siya saktan sa ginagawa niya.
"Woah! Chill!" He said. Sino ang hindi maiinis?! Tsk!
Hindi na ako nag-salita. I crossed my arms on my chest and stare to him arrogantly, waiting for his fucking explanation.
After a couple of seconds, he sighed in resignation.
"I'll tell you the truth but promised me don't freak out and don't you dare to run away from me. Got that?" I nodded for confirmation. Just tell me already!
I waited for like an eternity to hear what he wanted to say.
"We can't stay here anymore."
I'm not in the mood as well to stay in the pub for the whole day.
"Of course we can't stay in the pub for the whole day. We still need to go to a place they called school." I said sarcastically.
"No. You're not getting my point Nadeshi. What I mean is we can't stay here in Japan anymore."
