Where did it all begin

"I said no, I want to be with Lynn okay? You know this so why are you making it so difficult for me?" She ran her fingers through her hair walking away slowly from her ex, they were often on and often off so were they really ex's?

"I'm not the one making it difficult, you're with that low life and for what? To make me jealous because if that's what you wanted then it's worked. Congrats Jenna you win, like always, I have to be the first one to snap." The pair locked eyes, trying to read each other but neither one wanted to show their true feelings. They were both angry yes, but angry at themselves or each other.

"Lynn is your best friend, you're now slagging her off like she's worthless what has happened to you Tay? You're not the person I first met... we've changed each other and not for the better." Without saying another word, she turned and bolted for the door and never looked back but always wished she did.

*1 year prior*

"The new girl is super hot dude, look check her out!" Cam and Whak were gushing over this petite brunette walking in to their biology lesson, she had medium length hair and deep dark eyes to match, her figure was small which paired with her height.

"She's cute isn't she?" Matt butted in on their conversation trying to peer over their heads to actually see the tiny girl. She sat far away from everyone making it seem like she didn't want to be noticed or start any trouble, the boys acknowledged this and decided not to interrupt her thinking so they carried on talking about how New York High hadn't seen a girl like her in years.

"$50 she's gay!" Jake jumped up in front of them.

"What? No way, look at her, does she even look gay, no, that's what I thought." Matt was trying to convince himself more than anyone else that she was straight, she didn't match the stereotype, nor the stereotype of anyone gay they knew either.

"Well $50, Cam? Whak? What's your betting guys?" Cam and Whak nodded at each other and bet $50 she wasn't gay so Jake was the only one thinking she was, he'll either be $150 richer or $50 shorter.

"You guys need to get a grip, just go ask her if she's gay I mean I'm sure she won't mind." Jenna walks in late, as usual, Jenna was the type of girl to be late to anything and everything, even her own funeral. Her blonde hair was cut short with an undercut which all the boys loved, it gave her a badass look, but she was gay so they'd never get a yes from Jenna.

"Miss McDougall you're late, no surprise there though." The biology teacher called, after her entering the room walking towards the 4 boys who looked shocked.

"Guys the whole class can hear you talking about that poor girl, seriously come on" Jenna was speaking in a serious tone, however she was playing with them a little as she would've spoken about her in the exact same way. "Besides, do I fit the gay stereotype? Nope."

"Yeah but Jenna we can't just ask her if she likes girls, when people ask you you say no." Cam had a very good point, the school didn't deal with homosexuality very well, it was you're either straight or you keep your mouth shut, which disappointed Jenna greatly as she was a very open person. Jenna did want to let people know of her sexuality but she's so scared of the dear consequences which completely contradicts her appearance.

The lesson dragged, Jenna wasn't really the academic type, she preferred music and being on stage using her talents, not being cooped up indoors writing in text books, she made it her mission 6 months ago to start a band and actually have a career doing what she loves and sometimes it seems so easy, other days, not so much. Cam, Whak, Matt and Jake were her band members and they were called Tonight Alive. The boys wanted this to be their future as much as Jenna, it had always been their intention too, they were just more fortunate as their academic skills were a tad higher than Jenna's but lunch soon fell and the gang couldn't be happier. Everyone was crowding around a bench and trying to get to the front to have the best view of whatever catastrophe was happening, it must have only happened this second as no teachers were in sight.

"$50 it's Hayley being stupid again!" Jake shouted over the cheering and yelling with an excited expression on his face, darting his eyes between the other 4. They all just stared blankly at him and turned to sprint to the front of the crowed in unison. They found that small girl from biology being yelled at by the one and only Hayley Williams aka Queen Bee.

"Chad Gilbert, anyone else I wouldn't have cared but really? Chad? Come on Tay I thought you weren't like this anymore." She started off angry but sounded somewhat disappointed in the brunette.

"How many times I was just trying to make you see he's not worth it, I was doing you a favour! If he'll cheat on you with me once he'll do it again, I just proved that point, also why are you making it seem like it's my fault? Your boyfriend came on to me and you know I never wanted him." Tay was looking at Hayley deeply and was inching closer. So much for not wanting to go unnoticed. Hayley quickly turned and ran towards the crowd, disappearing in to a cloud of smoke but Tay just stood there looking after her, staring in the direction she went.

The new girl definitely caught Jenna's eye, her gaydar is also going through the roof so all the more reason to get to know her. Jenna just thought she was so captivating and intriguing but mainly wanted someone else to talk to about her sexuality and Hayley's sexuality too which came as a surprise to everyone at school, many guys ran after her screaming for details as Tay basically just outed her in front of the half the year, that's when Jenna saw something exciting happen, she needed this in her life, she needed a change from the boring, simplistic life she had currently.
