“Who is she?” They said as we walked down the carpet. He knew exactly how I felt about the tone and the words they said.
“Just ignore them.” He said, “They can’t do anything. We’re just here to see who wins and watch the performances. We don’t even have to go to the after party if you don’t want to.”
We continued down the RED carpet, yes red, like the one you see celebrities walk down on T.V. I used to do that. All summer long scan the news for any awards shows and then listen to the gossip to see if there was a chance for a surprise visit by my favorite celebrity, who now happens to be my date to one of those things.
