Chapter 1 - Training

(Y/N)'s Point of View

7:30 AM
I rolled over onto my side and glared at the alarm clock that had just woke me up. I've been in training for quite some time now and today was finally the last day. Somehow I managed to get myself out of bed and put on my uniform as I headed down to the mess hall to grab a quick breakfast. "(Y/N)!" I hear someone shout from behind, turning around to see my best friend Sasha running towards me. "Hey Sasha" I said as she slowed down to walking beside me "I was just on my way to the mess hall to grab breakfast before training started, wanna come with me?" "I'd love to!" exclaimed Sasha "I'll race ya there!" she said as she ran ahead of me.

8:00 AM
"Alight everyone listen up because I'm going to say this once and only once!" Commander Erwin snapped getting my attention. Everyone turned to the face front of the training yard where Erwin was standing. "Since this is the final day of  your training" Erwin stated "I'm going to let you each pick a sparring partner so you can practice the hand-to-hand combat because it seems like that's the only thing we need to clean up in terms of technique." Sasha's head immediately darted in my direction as she gives you the 'partners?' look. I give her a slight nod and walked over to her, ready to get through my last day of hell. "Haha look who Jaeger got suck with" Sasha said teasingly. I turned to look in the direction she was pointing and realized that Eren and Jean were sparring partners.

"Haha who's laughing now Jaeger" Jean smirked as he looked down on Eren's enraged face that he had just flipped onto the ground. "Shut the hell up horseface that was just a practice round!" Eren yelled as he scrambled to get back onto his feet. "Practice round?" Jean said sarcastically "In your dreams" he said as he triumphantly walked off.

"Oh man did you see that (Y/N),  Jean really showed Eren who's boss huh?" said Sasha "Yeah if you say so..." I said trailing off while I looked over at Eren who was currently dusting the dirt off of his uniform. "What are you looking at?" Sasha says smirking as she obstructs my view of the turquoise eyed boy. "N-nothing I was just uh looking at those trees over there" I said as I felt my face heat up from embarrassment. "Mhm sure whatever you say (Y/N)" Sasha says as she moves out of my way so I can see Eren again as my (E/C) eyes meet his turquoise ones.
