"Maya just leave me alone please," I cried. She's been bothering me since forever and I was starting to get tired of it. All I want is for it to stop.

"No. I can tell you're hiding behind that good girl act, and I'm not going to let you fool me or anyone else." She yelled.

"I'm not hiding, this is me. I am being myself just please leave me alone. I won't get in your way, I swear." I pleaded. She's been bullying me since the start of school and everyday was just as worst as the last. My brother taught me how to fight when I was little but I didn't believe in violence, so I just let her. I don't like confrontation, and I will do anything to avoid it.

"Keylia, I know you're just like the others. Thinking they're so much better than everyone just because you're smart. I can see behind you're good girl act and I don't like what I see. You will forever be lonely. Nobody will ever love you." She turned her back away from me and left without another word. I wanted to cry.

Realizing the bell had rung, I scrambled my things in my bag and ran to my next class. This day was only halfway over and I was already over it. I just wanted to go home.
