The Stalker

Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1:

I was walking home from school one sunny afternoon. Everything was fine. My friend Alicia had just got to her house (we walk home together) and I was about fifteen minutes away from my house. I just put my earphones in and started playing my favorite song " Wasting All These Tears On You" by Cassadee Pope.
About a minute later a car drove by, and it was a car I have never seen before. I didn't really pay much attention because I always see random cars drive around our neighborhood. A few minutes later the same car drove pass, again, but really slow. I felt this strange feeling, but I couldn't tell what it was. Was it fear? Hunger? Sudden stomach virus? I truly didn't know, at the time. I just continued on, but a little faster. I felt a flash of relief when I finally got home.
When I got home I went straight to my room and put on legging and my UnderArmor sweatshirt. After that I went to the kitchen to get food. While fixing a microwaveable pizza, I heard a noise outside. Since we live at the end of the street, we have woods behind our house so I assumed at was an animal or a limb falling off a tree. I went back to my room and suddenly I heard the noise again, but louder. I went to my window and looked for an animal... But all I saw was a human shadow casting from behind a tree. Who was it? What did they want? Were they the one driving the car? I asked all these questions to myself. Waiting for an answer.
