Breaking the moment
She moved towards her favourite spot.
Near the edge of the cliff to calm her erratically beating heart.
Sighing, he stood across her.
This is the time Jay, it's now or never.
Taking a deep breath,
he started to explain
all bout his constrain.
Why he abruptly left
Without any say.
How he felt ten times the pain.
He said, I was impelled do it or I'd lose you forever. I protected you by staying away.
She stood hearing it all,
Never interrupting once
Not giving away any emotion.
Until he reached the end and she reached her breaking point, losing it all.
