"unnie!"

the small girl threw herself onto the other girl, who wasn't much bigger. the older one chuckled, hugging the younger tightly.

"annyeong, dahyun-ah."

the younger released their hug and held the older's hands as her face grew with excitement.

"i haven't seen you in forever, nayeon unnie."

dahyun pouted as she gazed at nayeon. nayeon chuckled and ruffled her hair, ignoring dahyun's protests.

"i know. i've been busy with things, you know how school is."

nayeon sighed tiredly. dahyun nodded, understanding nayeon's pain. she went to an elite college where she needed to work hard. she wanted to satisfy her parents as they seem to put the most pressure on her. nayeon always wondered why it was her and not her brother. he was the male and older of the two, so typically he would be the one to be pressured. but not this time.

"maybe when you're not too tired, we can go out and get some bubble tea. just the 2 of us."

dahyun kindly smiled at her unnie. she had to admit, she hadn't seen nayeon due to her relationship with nayeon's brother. they were practically inseparable. nayeon nodded at dahyun's inviting words.

"definitely. come on, let's go into the kitchen as jaebum finishes up."

dahyun bounced along, following nayeon to the kitchen area. dahyun sat at the kitchen counter and nayeon leaned against the other side of the counter.

"do you know what he's doing?"

dahyun shook her head and pouted.

"he won't tell me."

"because it's going to be a surprise."

nayeon turned around and saw her brother standing at the kitchen doorway. dahyun got up from her seat and ran to the tall boy, jumping on him like how she did to nayeon.

nayeon chuckled at her. she was the cutest little thing. she was a year younger than them, but she still could be mature. she remembered the cute little story of how they met. they went to the same college. when jaebum was a sophmore, dahyun was a freshman. on his way back from a class, he bumped into her. they talked a little but not much. later in the year, they met officially through a couple of friends. fast forward a month, you have your new couple; kim dahyun and im jaebum.

dahyun and nayeon grew close after dahyun met jaebum. they were always friends, but grew closers when dahyun started hanging around more. dahyun had one day asked if nayeon would mind if she dated her twin brother. nayeon just smiled widely, telling her of course not. and that's where dahyun told nayeon about their relationship. they were quite a cute pair in her eyes.

"don't become all cheesy. and save the pda for your date."

jaebum chuckled at his sister. letting go of dahyun, he walked over and messed up her hair. nayeon swatted his hand away, yelling at him.

"and when are you gonna get a boyfriend, nayeon?"

nayeon glared at him while she fixed her hair.

"when the universe decides to give him to me."

"you can't just wait for the universe. go out and find new people."

nayeon scrunched up her nose and shook her head. honestly, she would've expected to date one of her friends by now, mark tuan. he was always kind and sweet to her, but she only saw him as a friend. if she couldn't find anyone else, she would probably date him. she didn't really like meeting new people.

"oh, i forgot!"

"mwo?"

"there's a guy in our year, older than us, but he's one of my good friends. i want you to meet him."

nayeon raised an eyebrow at her brother.

"are you playing cupid right now?"

"no! i just...i feel bad because you don't have really have anyone. i thought maybe you should have someone to go to when you're frazzled from school or something."

nayeon stayed silent, loving her brother caring for her so much. biting her bottom lip, she looked back up at him.

"what's his name?"

jaebum smiled. he liked playing a little matchmaker. even thought she was his little sister and he was definitely overprotective, he wouldn't mind seeing her with this guy.

"jinyoung. park jinyoung."
