So, this poem actually has a real-life and heart-touching story behind it. Last Friday ( January 20th ) we had a service day at school. There were four classes:
-Sandwich Making ( for the homeless )
-Blanket Making ( for a local children's hospital )
-Game Room ( to rid kids of their energy because it was almost lunchtime, not really serving the community but oh well )
and finally, our favorite
-Card Making ( to go with the blankets to the children's hospital )
Of course, is being us, we wrote the same POEM in all the cats we made. We signed them all miraculousbonnie.
This is the poem:
A poem for you
To help you get through
The tough times in life.
So never give up
Never give in
Because people love you,
And I'm one of them.
( it's not the longest poem we ever wrote or anything, but the cards were small. )
