What They Didn't Know ( Nalu )

I hear a knock at my bedroom door as I was packing my things.

''Come in.'' I call quietly.

The door opens slowly to reveal Aries. ''Sorry to disturb you Miss Lucy but your father wants you to go up to the attic and collect your thing's.'' I smile sweetly at her and nod.

''Okay, I'll go up right now thank you for telling me.'' she gives me a shy smile and nods.

''Sorry.'' I hear her soft voice fade as she leaves my room.

As I was going through my things in the attic I found an old photo of me, my father and my mother before she died behind one of my boxes, I smile sadly at the canvas.
'I've never seen my dad so happy'
My smile soon fades as the memory of her funeral played in my head like a movie.

-FLASHBACK-

After my mother was buried everyone was devastated, there wasn't a dry eye.
I saw my father with his head down, showing he was obviously upset.
I run over to him, hoping to make him happy again.
I tug on his sleave to get his attention, but I didn't get the reaction I was hoping for.
He turned to me with anger in his eyes.
"This is your fault!" he screamed in my face as I trembled.
"I-I'm s-sorry"

-END OF FLASHBACK-

I quickly grab the painting and hide it from my father running to my room to finish packing and load all of my stuff onto the moving van.

''I hope this will be a new start."

I get into the car with my dad we don't talk all the way to Magnolia, we don't even look at each other once the entire way there but it didn't really bother me because I never want talk to him anyway.

After about an hour of Capricorn driving us we finally reach the house.

I get out of the car and stretch my legs and take my things out of the moving van to move them to my room, which was alot bigger than my last one.

i stay my room almost all night to unpack my things and when I was hungry I just brought food that Virgo bought from the store. Like hell was I staying out there, I could already smell the alcohol and hear all the bottles being opened then smashed when they where finished.

I sigh and lay back on my bed, thinking how much I can't wait for school tomorrow to get away from here.
