Shawns POV.
I know I can treat her better than he can.
I know that she is hurting inside
But does she know it's killing me?

"Hey Shawn!" Y/N runs up to me and gives me a hug. She looks up to me with those gorgeous (insert eye colour) eyes and flashes me that winning smile.
"How's my best friend doing today?"
"Great! Would you be able to drop me off at Y/BF/N (your boyfriends name) house?" She asks.
"Look, Y/N. I don't get why you're dating him! He's a bad influence and he doesn't treat you well." I say.
"Shawn, I'm fine! I love him." As those words slip out of her mouth I feel like I've been punched.
"Okay," I whisper.

"Bye, Shawn!" She calls, waving at me and entering the house. I decide to stay for a bit more, in case she needs me.
20 mins later (read this in the spongebob voice thing lmao)
A crying Y/N runs out of the house and I immediately embrace her into a hug.
"I'm sorry Shawn. I should've listened to you! I'm so stupid," she sobs.
"I know, Y/N. I know," I murmur whilst stroking her hair.
As we make our way back into my car, she tells me everything.
"He hit me, I was standing up for myself and then he..." she shows me the red mark on her cheek.
"Y/N, I just need to tell you something. Listen to me,"
She cocks her head to one side and looks at me. I love it when she does that.
"I love you."
"Aweee, I love you too Shawn"
"No. Not as friends. I love you for something more than that and I hope you feel-" before I can finish the sentence she pulls me in to a kiss, and I kiss back.
"I hope that answers your question."
