Spending time with friends

“I’ll see you tonight.” I sighed leaning over to kiss Noah’s cheek 

“Be careful and call me if you need anything.” He said as I slipped out of the car 

“I will.” I replied closing the door behind me 

I was meeting the girls in thirty minutes so went inside to changing into something more comfy, I wasn’t enormous but I was big enough to need new clothes, I couldn’t button my jeans anymore and they were getting more and more uncomfortable by the day. 

I quickly changed into a purple sweatshirt that used to be big on me but now fit perfect and showed my bump with a black tank top underneath and a pair of thick black leggings and grey uggs to finish off the outfit. I went back out to check my hair and makeup, satisfied with the way I looked I grabbed my purse from my bed and went back out and hopped into my car. 

We had agreed to meet up at our favorite restaurant before going to do a little shopping. 

“Ellie!” Izzy shrieked when she spotted me making my way towards them 

“Hey.” I chuckled keeping my bag in front of my bump so they wouldn’t spot it before I could break the news 

“How have you been? I feel like we haven’t seen you in forever.” Zoe pulled me into a hug as soon as I was close enough 

“I’m good, a lot has been going on but things are pretty good.” I smiled pulling back 

“So, what’s been going on with you?” 

“Well, I have something I have to tell you, we should probably sit down first.” I stalled, nervous about how they would react 

“Okay… what wrong?” Izzy asked eyeing me suspiciously 

“Hello, how many?” the hostess asked saving me from answering 

“Three.” I answered trying to avoid spilling the news before we got to our table 

“Follow me.” She instructed, grabbing three menus and leading us to and empty booth “ Your waiter will be with you in a minute.” She smiled leaving us alone 

“Spill it.” Zoe said as soon as the hostess was out of ear shot 

“Okay, well , I’m pregnant. Four months to be exact and we just found out were having a little girl.” I announce as a smile slowly made it’s way on my face 

“OH MY GOSH!!” Izzy shriek

“How long have you know?” Zoe asked once the initial shock had passed 

“A while.” I shrugged 

“Congratulations!!” Izzy grinned jumping up to come smother me in a bone crushing hug 

“Thanks.” I squeaked

“Sorry, I’m just so excited for you.” 

“Thank you. I was a little worried about what you guys would think.” I admitted 

“Why?” Zoe asked 

“Well, we told our family two weeks ago, on Thanksgiving actually, and things didn’t go so well.” I frowned thinking back to that day 

“What happened?” Izzy asked going back to sit next to Zoe 

“Oh gosh, where would I even begin.” I sighed 

“How about with your parents.” Zoe suggested 

“Well both our parents were really cool about it, I was actually really surprised about how well they took it, it was more the grandparents that didn’t take it so well.”
