Mondays where always a day to restart, remember or refresh. Why? Well at home no one listened to me or let me speak. But once I turn 18 I'm leaving because I can't bare it anymore in that hell hole you call 'home'

It's January 6th, in 5 days I will be 18. In 5 days I will be free.
My parents are going to take my sister out for tea on my birthday, leaving me alone in the house enough time for me to pack my bags and go.
Today is my birthday, my parents have gone and it's around noon. I rush upstairs grab my shoes spare clothes and my money that I've been saving up. I walk to the door and grip the door handle. I hesitate before opening the door but it doesn't stop me I need to get away, far away. I walk to the bus stop and wait for the next bus to arrive. My phone starts to buzz. It's Jenny. Jenny is a girl from my collage, I answer the phone lifting it up to my ear.
"Hello?" I say
"Frisk! I'm so glad you answered, everyone else wouldn't pick up!"
She practically cries
I always seemed to be her last resort
"Ok what's up? You sound heart broken" i question
"It's brad again! He was angry and he.. he did it again" she says nervously
I never truly believed this girl so I decided to go.
"Look I'm sorry Jen, but I have to go, I'm sorry" I say awkwardly hoping she doesn't catch on
"Ok g-good bye then" she whines
I say good bye and see the bus approaching. I signal for it to stop and tell it to go as far as it can from this point onwards.
1 hour later the bus driver tells me to get off here, I hop off the bus and look up to see a mountain stood in front of me.
"Now or never!" I mutter
I start to climb the mountain observing the trees around me. It was a beautiful mountain.
Once I reach the top I see a cave, walking towards it I didn't realise there was a hole beneath me. I fall down and find myself in the underground, where we sealed the monsters. To my surprise a young goat-lady walks towards me.
"My child, are you alright?" She says softly
I rub my head and nod. She leads me through this place called the ruins. We reach what looks like a cottage, she
signals for me to go inside. I hesitate and look at her sternly.
"You don't have to stay my child"
I smile and walk in.
"The way out is down through the basement"
"Thanks" I reply
I walk down the stairs into a long corridor. Sighing I start to walk down. I could vaguely see a door at the end. Once I reach it I say my good byes to my old life and hello to my new one.
