Prologue

Today marks a revolutionary moment in medical history, both Akerman Medical Research South Africa and Australia's very own Smith Neurological Accommodation Research Australia have formed the ASI or Akerman-Smith Industries. Mr Akerman has come forward labeling the corporation as a forefront for medical research and in particular; Neurology.

Smith who lost his son to Depression-A1 back in 2028; the first fatal Depression related disease was inspiration for his amazing work in Neuroscience and the field of Brain Diseases. Research centers for disease & control have been green-lighted in several cities worldwide by the ASI; Sydney, Melbourne, Yokohama, Toulouse, Capetown and Seattle now have at least one ASI center.

Jenny Greene of the World Health Organization (W.H.O) has praised the decision as a "Remarkable moment for world disease research" and has made sure that WHO will always be a partner of the corporation. Meanwhile people in the field of medical research are displaying more interest in being part of the ASI's extensive occupational branch, showing a higher workforce making him or herself known to the world.

Depression-A1 is one of four major depressions first discovered in 2019, and is proven fateful by cutting off the brain's blood supply leading to numerous symptoms in the limbs and chest before death. Suicidal thoughts and dangerous actions could also lead to death, the cause of the disease is unknown but numerous reports suggest the disease can be caught from others.

Magistrate: Mr Akerman have you or have you not committed medical experiments on any people without their will?

Akerman: No, I have not.

Magistrate: Your Corporation; Akerman-Smith Industries is one of the largest pharmaceutical and medical research corporations in the world, spanning several continents with over 50 research buildings built or under construction. Is it not likely you would have some human experimentation or interviewing under way?

Akerman: Likely? Yes, very likely... but without human will, absolutely not. Our corporation is the only one of it’s kind, we have done wonders for the medical world and yet I am committed of an act like this; it sickens me.

Magistrate: So it’s true you do carry out interviews and experiments?

Akerman: Yes.

Magistrate: With lawful human allowance..?

Akerman: Yes.

Magistrate: One final delve into the medical world if I may, is your (as you say) humane and lawful experimenting conducted for medical research and manufacturing not bio-chemical weaponry effects and the development of these biochemical weapons of mass destruction, as we have seen in China over the past decade?

Akerman: I would say you are much mistaken if you believe the rumors.
