I logged straight on to Snapchat as soon as I got back from Target. I started talking to my best friend, Marzia Creed.

Marzia1999: hey, u coming to the club with us tonight?
CherubLav: nah, cba. Just got back from Target.
Marzia1999: but Cole Brooke will be there 😋☺️
CherubLav: idgaf. I h8 that little girly fag 😒
Marzia1999: whatever, u don't know what you're missing out on. Possibly the most lit night in all of our years left in High School.
Marzia1999 has logged off Snapchat.

Even though she was my best friend, she still seriously annoyed me sometimes. Especially when she wanted me to do something but I really couldn't be bothered. All she does really is try and make me fill in for her at parties and things, and even when she does go with me, she blanks me out. I'm literally like a shadow, but when she isn't like that she's truly the nicest and funniest person you'll ever meet. She has random outbreaks of random words, I swear to God she has what I call 'Selective turrets'. Some days she spends cussing at everyone. Sometimes she shouts out random words like Sausages. She's crazy. But I love her. Just as I was about to turn off my phone, a notification came up.

"Strange." I thought, going back on to Snapchat. "There's no Len's or Lenny's in our school, so who could it be?" He checked out his details, his profile picture was basically him giving the middle finger and waving it about, his name was put as 'Wth is it to you', and the amount of snaps he had put in his story. 98. I thought carefully about accepting it. Mum told me that if I did accept any friend requests from people I don't know, she'd delete my Snapchat and take my phone off me. That was something I just wasn't willing to risk. But then I thought about stuff like making friends. "YOLO!" I shouted out loud, and accepted. I turned off my phone and another notification lit up.

I swiped the notification and it took me back to Snapchat and into our conversations section.

LenY: hey

Did he seriously snap me first? That's probably the first time. I always have to snap them to get their attention. Oh well.

CherubLav: Hey, who are you?
LenY: My name is Lenny. Hbu?
CherubLav: Cherub.
LenY: Sweet name. It's cute, suits your little profile picture <3
CherubLav: How did you find me?
LenY: Just typing in random keywords then adding random people. Exactly what I was told not to do. Searched Cherub, you came up, and bam. Here we are now.
CherubLav: Could you send me a picture of you or something? I feel kinda uncomfortable.
LenY sent you a picture!

He sent a picture of his abs, captioned 'V-Line on point😉😏' He was tight stomached and obviously worked out daily.

CherubLav: You're dead fit. But not what I'm looking for. Face or something?
LenY: I'm ugly, trust me bbg x
CherubLav: Cmon, for me? ;)

My jaw dropped. He was gorgeous. He was biting his lower lip and holding his black hair out of his face, looking directly at the camera with his ocean blue eyes. Yikes. This wasn't what I expected.

CherubLav: You're not ugly at all, you silly billy x you're bloody outstanding x
LenY: stop lying, ur the pretty one ;) show me a picture?

I posed sexily and did a pout at the camera, my hair falling half in my face, the other half showing off my smokey eye. I took another adding a hint of red to my lips. I clicked send and waited for his answer.

LenY: You look beautiful.
CherubLav: Aww, you little flatterer xx
LenY: gtg, catch ya later beautiful x

I looked at the picture of him over and over again, staring at his beautiful face. How could he call himself ugly? He was the most perfect guy I'd ever seen in my life. He had that kind of fuckboy expression on his face though, but he still looked sexy. I have a feeling we will get along just fine.
