The Neighbors 2 Movie Fanfiction. A continuation to see the lives of the old Delta Psi guys. Everyone seems fine, but not so much with Teddy Sanders and his girlfriend Lucy or Lulu. He misses the frat life. She wants him to move on from that life. L...
(A/N: It's hilarious that I told myself that I wouldn't do a second book. Yet here I am doing it. 😂 Anyways, I have no rights to the movie just the characters that I made for this story. Enjoy!)

A short statured man leans against his desk as he looks at me from the top of my head, to the tips of my black heels. He nods approvingly while stroking his stubbled beard. "So Lucy McCallister," He hits the stack of paper in his other hand. "DreamWorks designer and yet you're here. Why is that?"
"I need to get extra money to help pay for bills." I bluntly said. While slightly straightening my posture.
"You have a boyfriend?"
I give him a look. "Excuse me? Why is that relevant."
"Just wanted to know, but it seems like you do have one." He shrugs. He just shakes his head. "Some boyfriend he is, does he even help you out?"
That question had me back track in Teddy and I's relationship, but it didn't matter. "Mr. Smith, what does this have to do with the job interview?"
Yep, Aaron Smith, the founder of one of the large dating online blog and magazine. SPILL. Which stands for Single People In Literal Love. "Look call me Aaron, this company is a fun environment! Also I'm sorry for digging in too deep." Aaron laughs and hands me a pink lanyard. "I like your resume and personally I think you're what this company needs."
He smiles as I take the lanyard. "Welcome to SPILL."
The door opens and I'm literally almost falling out of my chair. A tall man with short brown hair and striking blue with a hint of green eyes walks in. The man wears a dark blue suite with black dress shoes and a light blue button up shirt. His smile drops and looks guilty.
"Oh," The hot man looks at me and then to Aaron. "I'm sorry. Didn't know that you were doing an interview."
I can tell from the way he spoke he had a sexy fucking British accent. My hands that were calmly on my lap, are now gripping the black Jean skirt I'm wearing.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Pull yourself together!
"Tom come here, it's fine." Aaron waves the hot British man over. Tom walks over and stands next to Aaron with his hands in his pockets. "This here is Thomas Hale. Vice President of this company. You'll be working under him."
And hopefully many other positions...PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER! I stand up and put out my hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Hale. Lucy McCallister."
Tom takes my hand and kisses the back of it. "A pleasure. Just call me Tom." He smiles up at me since he had to bend because of his height.
I blush at the gesture. "Then same for me, Lulu or Lucy should be fine."
Tom straightens himself up. "Lucy, I look forward to working with you."
I sigh as I pull into my driveway. At the moment Teddy is staying at Pete's place till he decides to give in and officially move in with me. Which might be never. Looking over my shoulder, I see pamphlets to houses that I can afford. Teddy wouldn't like the idea so much. My head bumps onto the steering wheel in frustration. "He's going to complain again Lucy, just be prepared for some bashing." I tell myself.
A knock comes upon my window of my black Range Rover. Slowly turning my head I glance up to see Teddy in his usual Abercrombie work clothes. With a frown on his face. He opens my car door. "You wouldn't believe what happened at work."
"Some kid called you old." I mumble as I go to the back of my car to get my art stuff out.
"Some kid called me old!" I hand Teddy the heavy boxes of paint as he complains some more. Nodding my head to make sure he understands that I'm listening. Is this what guys usually do when their girlfriends go on and on? If so, I understand their pain.
It's always the same routine. Teddy complains, we eat, we fuck out his frustrations. I get up after he sleeps and work on projects for DreamWorks, then the process goes in a cycle again.
I bet Teddy can find better jobs then the one he's in now. Up the stairs I go with Teddy following behind me, finally shutting up. His eyes linger on my outfit choice. A sheer shirt but non-sheer on my boobs and a black mini Jean skirt.
"You look nice today." He wraps his free arm around my shoulder. Making me stop unlocking my apartment door. "So where'd you go?"
Possessive. I unlock the door wide enough for him to go through. Teddy grunts as he lifts the box again. "I got another job." I said as I walk behind him. My boxes of art supplies drops onto my living room floor.
"That's great, hopefully it'll help with getting me out of this stupid job." He plops himself onto my sofa and turns on the TV.
"You're done with your GED. Maybe you can get a better job." I sigh at the sight of some slightly broken plates in the box. I should have told him to be careful.
Teddy scratches his arm as he watches whatever crap is on TV. He looks over as I take the broken pieces out of my box. "Sorry."
"It's fine."
A piece slightly cuts my finger, but I didn't voice out the little pain. Instead I sucked on my finger and walk over to the kitchen. I tap the faucet and it turns on. I put my finger under the rushing cold water to stop the bleeding.
"What type of job did you get?" Teddy asks from his place on the sofa.
"It's for the magazine SPILL. I'm working underneath Thomas Hale, the Vice President of the company, in the department of photo placements."
Teddy groans, making me roll my eyes in annoyance as I put a bandaid on. "That seems so easy! I can do that!" Teddy looks over at me. "But I guess it's about grades these days."
"Don't say that!" I walk over and sit sideways on his lap. "There's plenty of jobs that can accept GED graduates! Better than a high school degree, right?"
"Sure." He doesn't look at me and looks at the TV. My heart aches, what happened to that boyish spark that I love? I sadly sigh and kiss his cheek. "Everything will be okay." I said while getting up from my spot. I walk back to the kitchen in deep thought. The thought of taking a break from Teddy. Would that give me a stress free life? Yes, but I would be sad that I'll be alone again. Especially since Pete's going to be proposed soon, and I know he's going to say yes. From that outcome. Teddy would be kicked out from Pete's place...
I take out some pasta noodles, Alfredo sauce, chicken, and broccoli for dinner. Something I like to eat when I'm stressed.
"Babe? Can you add bacon in the pasta?" Teddy yells from his lazy spot.
I chop the chicken so loud, it echoes. "Nope that's for your guys night. Which is tomorrow." I set the knife down to look at him.
Teddy gets up from the sofa and walks over to me. "Hey you okay?"
"I'm fine." I stare at him as he keeps his distance. Did he think that I was going to stab him. I giggle, watching Teddy slowly put his arms up to surrender. He laughs and wraps his arms around my shoulders. "I promise not to be that frustrated again."
I hug him, knowing that was a repeat of the empty promises he said before. He won't follow that promise as he did once.
