She was captivating. Her long brown hair cascaded down her back as she tried to balance her large coffee with the stack of books in her arms, all whilst talking on the phone. She wasn't tall but she wasn't short and although her height was average, she was anything but. She let out a frustrated sigh as she argued with the person on the phone. She stuck out her plump lips in a pout, stomped her foot in annoyance and continued to talk over the phone. After a few minutes she hung up with a huff and without a doubt she got the last word in. She muttered profanities under her breath and then scowled at the book she dropped accidentally. The top she was wearing had ridden up to expose a strip of her flat stomach which made the boys around her drool. She took a seat at an empty table and opened her books to begin studying. The book had 'Biochemistry' displayed in large print.  She was so beautiful without even trying, her deep brown eyes were kind until you pissed her off, then they could kill you in a glance. Everyone was watching her but she wasn't paying attention. What did catch her attention was the boy who just walked into the courtyard, a gym bag hanging on his shoulder and in a football jersey with the number '21' written in big bold letters along with name 'WEST'. As soon as he walked in, all eyes were on him, including hers.

He was breathtaking. He was tall, very tall, with legs longer than the Victoria Secret models on the runways. His eyes were a piercing green and it intimidated everyone around him. His large biceps and toned stomach peeking through his jersey showed off his hard work at the gym and on the field. His skin was covered in ink, different patterns and words etched all over his body. He ran a hand through the mop of curls on his head which made him even more desirable. Every girl on campus wished to run their hands through his soft hair, but only one girl on campus had the privilege. He stopped and scanned the courtyard until his eyes landed on what he was looking for, or rather who. He took large steps towards the girl sitting at the table, sipping coffee with a satisfied look on her face. When he saw the look he rolled his eyes. As he approached the table she said, "You came."

He smiled and replied sassily, "From the angry speech you gave me over the phone how could I not?" She smirked and shrugged her shoulders. Instead of taking the seat across from her as she expected, he came up behind her and lifted her so she was sitting in his lap. He gave her a big kiss on the cheek and whispered something in her ear that made them both smile. They were flawed but perfect for each other, in a dysfunctional sort of way. However, they were in love and everyone knew it. Although that didn't stop things from falling apart.

She was Lexi Torres and he was Calum West. She was his and he was hers, at least for now.
