The shallow sight

He walked on the path,
Wondering how long he would last,
Behind him was a trail of hearts,
He remembered every single one even the start,
People see the what he left behind him,
They think he picks up girls and uses them,
But they don't see his heart had been broken and he had to reform,
He was the one with cuts on his body from the storm,
He made new because the old had been broken,
Too many hurtful words had been spoken,
But his ears received the words,
To say those weren't his hearts behind him would be absurd,
But he made more in hopes of someone to see the truth,
Because he has been searching since his youth
