Chapter 3: La Mujer

     "He told you and not me?!"

     "Look I'm sorry okay?"

I was furious.

     "You know what? It's okay I forgive you."

I was still mad.

      "Phew! Thank god. By the way..."

      "Yes?"

This time Bodhi leans in.

       "If she sees you in real life, run the opposite side. Run as fast as you can."

      ...

I said goodbye to Bodhi after that. And walked K2SO around Central Park. Then we went home.

       "Alright K2 you stay there. I'm going to go and take a nap."

       "Woof!"

JYN'S POV:

      I didn't know what else to do after what just happened.

My phone rings.

               DAD

ACCEPT     DECLINE

      "Hi, dad."

      "Hey, sweetpea. Can you help me pick up the red velvet cake I ordered from Aunty Leia?"

Aunty Leia is my dad's favourite baker. She bakes the best cakes in NYC.

      "Sure..."

      "Are you okay, Jyn?"

       "I'm... fine, dad. I'll go pick up the cake now."

      "You don't have to if your not feeling well."

     "No! No... it's okay! I'll go pick it up right now."

    "Okay then, thanks Jyn. Bye."

    "Bye."

I call Aunty Leia.

   
   "Hi Aunty Leia! My dad said I have to pick up a red velvet cake from you?"

    "Oh yes, yes. You can come by my bakery right now."

    "Okay thanks!"

I walk to Aunty Leia's bakery because it was near my apartment.

   Jyn was walking to the bakery. Cassian woke up from his nap to pick up some cupcakes too for his mother.

  Jyn thought of that man again.

I need to know who he is.

Jyn hoped that she'd see him in her dreams again tonight.

     And suddenly...

Bump!

     Jyn fell on the floor.

"Hey! Watch where your going!"

  "I'm so sorry! I didn't see where I was walking."
The man was holding his head.

    "Wait, a second,"

Jyn looked at the man. Closely.

      "It's you!"

The man looked up.

Everyone around them seemed to freeze. Like they were walking in slow-motion.

The man looked shocked.

     "Oh god."

CASSIAN'S POV:

"Ouch!" The woman said.

    Aw man my head.

     "Hey! Watch where your going!"

The woman looked at me. I looked up.

    "Its you!"

The world froze.

     I kept on staring at her. It was her. The one I met in the dream.

And then Bodhi's words repeated in my head.
"If you ever see her in real life, Run the opposite way."

I got up and the world started moving again. And I did what Bodhi told me.

Run the opposite way.
