Octavia's POV
"Octavia, do you really have to steal this from the castle!" says Cato.
"Yes. Because it is the only way we can survive in this village." I say.
Zemus wants us to pay extremely high taxes. He also said if we don't have enough money to pay then we have to pay in blood. It seems really ridiculous, but he is one day going to cause the death of the kingdom. Cato and I have been trying to live for years under his rule because he leaves the villages starving.
"Okay, we just need to walk into the next room on the left."
We are walking into one of the royal's buildings getting some money so we can pay for food. We walk into the room and and grab a medium sized bag of gold coins.
"Now we can buy enough food for two weeks!" exclaims Cato.
"Hey! I thought you didn't want anything to do with this!?!"
"Well I didn't until I thought about what we are going to do with it," says Cato.
I wish he weren't so picky all the time. He starts to disagree with something, and then he acts like he was on your side the whole time, but I have no complaining to do because he's my best friend.
