??? POV:
Walking around the failed test subjects, I left my mind wandering in the void. Not really, but just thinking a lot. The experiments have been failing, I know I made some good progress, but they won't stop squirming and screaming. I manage to have recent test subject asleep, so I can make some good progress, and hopefully make it successful.

I have been using the same methods for my other test subjects, just a few. They kept moving and screaming, begging mercy, wanting to be free. I never knew that they would make themselves so vulnerable. I needed the next test subject to stop screaming. I managed to caught one, but it was passed out. But the methods I usually use are working. Is it because this human is asleep, from what they call it?
Its's been almost 3 days since the human's been asleep. Others were awake for only a day. Probably the reason why it fails for a couple times is because they are awake, which alerts them more and avoids to fall asleep. Whereas the human right now has been asleep, and  hasn't woken up yet. I wonder what this human is, what you call, dreaming.

I looked over at the clipboard I left on the table.
Name: Unknown Human No. 7
Age: Unknown. Most likely 15

Gender Appearance: Feminine/Masculine like
Experiment result:

I haven't finished the experiment just yet, but it is slowly working. There's loud banging coming through the hallways far away. They arrive?

Reader's POV:
I feel myself awake, in control, but I don't feel like myself at the same time. I'm not in this human world. It's an empty endless hole I'm in. There are times I can see a something white, but it disappears in the blink of an eye. I don't remember how long I've been in this empty hole. I don't know what time it is. I float around, even though it's endless here. I cannot find my way through this black hole.

I still fall asleep, I can feel tired. I don't feel hungry or thirsty strangely. I remember passing out on the floor. I guess I was extremely tired. I was escaping away from two people, and it was freezing cold. I don't enjoy this at all, I can't tell if I'm awake or not. I know I'm even thinking and talking, but sometimes I don't remember when and how.

I thought I was going to go crazy, I can't handle the void anymore.

I see the light. I see something other than black, something opening up the void. I tried swimming towards it, I feel myself getting sucked into the new dimension. I don't want to be in this void anymore, I want to be free... I can feel my body... I hear noises...

I felt something cold pressed against my cheek, and explosion-like sounds going around the place. I  felt myself opening my eyes, and in my view, is a cold metal floor or wall, and something that looks like it's been knocked over. A sudden motion widen my eyes, and I felt nauseous from my throat. Bony arms wrapped around me protectively as more explosion noises rang around. Soon I felt queasy as I felt like I'm moving from somewhere quickly. the sounds immediately stopped, and it's replaced with the sound of wind howling. My eyes were covered with a warm fabric as the same bony arms attempted to keep me warm, despite the chilly wind. A faint tune rings around the area, the strange individual kept holding me and walking.

I dare not to move. It's not human, like me. Its belly feels hollow, but I can still feel the belly somewhat. Who is this individual?
