I looked out at the people sitting in the rows of the place where I was going to be married in a few hours. I was getting nervous and was starting to wish my older sister was here. But she was currently stationed overseas so she couldn't be here.
I watch as Clara walks down the isle to me. I still couldn't believe that I, Jasper O'Dare, was getting married to my best friend. When she reached where I was standing. The preacher started the ceremony.
I glance out at the people who are here. When I notice her slip into the backyard. She smiles and sets back in one of the back rows.
The preacher soon says 'You may now kiss the bride.' After we kiss we walk back down the isle.
When we get inside because it had started to rain, I danced with Clara and while We where dancing I asked her if she knew about Ellie coming home for the wedding. She nods her head and laughs. I should have expected those two where best friends. After the dance, I saw Ellie and her fiancé, Brody, talking and laughing. "May I have this dance?" I ask Ellie the same way I asked her to dance during our aunts wedding only this time we knew how to dance. She laughs. "Just like the good old days then." "Yeah."
When the song is over. Ellie tells me take a walk with Clara. Walking around with Clara outside in the rain then I realize why Ellie told me to go outside, because I hear Brady holler. "What The Crap is going on in there?" Clara asks even though she is smiling and probably knows what's going on. "I don't know let's go find out." We walk back inside where I can see Brody staring at Ellie. "What happened?" I ask my dad. "Something that Ellie still hasn't told us but, Clara knows and Brody just connected some dots." He tells me. Brody starts smiling and then I realize what happened. Me not thinking I blurt out, "You're Pregnant?" Ellie nods then I understand the other reason that She's home. "You have to deal with me for the next year and a half." She says.
