New Beginnings

ANTHONY POV

"Your shaking" Gracie said with a smirk.

"Grown men don't shake over the first practice for a musical" Anthony replied with a huff.

"Yeah, well grown men don't tear up over the ending of the bachelor" Gracie laughed. Flipping her short blond hair. Gracie, as Anthony often remarked to himself never did get the wavy brown hair that seemed all too common in his family, but he always thought of that as just another reason that she was born to stand out, he honestly couldn't wait to see what a free spirit like her would grow up to create.

"Don't you have homework to do or something? Not that I don't completely adore you making fun of me or anything..."

"Oh you love me. And anyway, i'm in the 6th grade how much homework do you think we get?" Anthony shook his head smiling,

"fine just tell mom that I left biscuits in the pantry for when she wakes up."

"I promise to tell her only if you want to pay for the tooth replacement she will need when she takes a bite out of those biscuits. I would say no wonder your career in baking was short but I'm pretty sure you're going to be late if you don't leave soon."

"God Gracie thanks for keeping me modest. Whatever would I do without you."Anthony Laughed rolling his eyes.

"Probably burn the house down with your awful cooking" Gracie replied shrugging and grabbing an apple off the table. "And I wasn't kidding when I said you are going to be late." She said pointing to the clock.

"Crap!" He exclaimed and with only a quick goodbye to his sister he was out the door.

JASMINE POV

"What is wrong with him?!" Jasmine sighed, "are we talking about Justin again" Renee asked kindly. "Well who else would cheat on a person and then give them a booty call three hours after they have broken up." Jasmine said adjusting her hair.

"Well look on the bright side" Pippa said walking over to help a struggling Jasmine with her hair, "At least we get to meet the whole cast today!"

"And I heard they cast someone just around your age" Renne chirped with a wink.

"And he's supposed to be awfully handsome" Pippa gushed.

"Talking about someone handsome? Girls what did I say about gossiping about me when I'm not in the room." Daveed smiled, walking in. I looked back at Renee long enough to see her cheeks go a bright shade of pink.

"You wish" Jasmine laughed.

"Well as much as I love being ridiculed that's actually not why I came in here..." Daveed said smirking but got cut off at the sight of Renee in her fitted dress, "what was I saying?" Daveed questioned after a long pause. Jasmine flipped back her lion's mane of a hair and laughed with him. Maybe she could like it here, Jasmine thought as Pippa ran her soft fingers through her hair, she suddenly shrieked as Pippa reaches a rather large knot.

"I am so sorry!" Pippa squealed. Jasmine laughed it off, but instantly stopped as she saw the crumpled photo of her and Justin. We had just broken up.  I wonder if he was seeing Tiffany when that was taken she thought spitefully .

"Renee" she whispered quietly. Renee looked up, "Could you throw that away please." Renee did so without batting an eye, she was always like a mother to me Jasmine thought. It didn't even pain her to see him go, he had chosen his life and I had chosen mine. No more Justin.
