"No worries, Vi. What happened last night is in the past, I'm over it. I'm not angry with Harry, although I don't really prefer him." I said.

"I love how optimistic you are, it's quite the gift." Violet shook her head, a happy smile spread across her face. "Now come on, Niall and I are taking you to lunch, our treat. Even if you're over what happened last night, we still want to make it up to you."

Niall picked us up outside the dorms and took us to this little sandwich shop right off campus. It was a small sub-shop, with maybe 10 little tables scattered throughout the place. After we'd all ordered, we sat by the window over-looking the interstate and talked.

"So, Jenson. Violet told me you're an art major?" Niall asked while sipping on his fizzy drink.

"I am. I've been drawing since before I could remember." I replied.

"What kind of classes are you taking?"

"A basic drawing, sketching class of course, a sculpting class, a creative writing class, and a music class." I said, listing them all while counting them off on my fingers.

"Music? What kind?" Violet asked. We'd never discussed that she was into music before. Violet must have noticed the violin case once in their closet, but maybe she'd forgotten to ask.

"Piano and violin."

"Ah, I play the guitar." Niall said.

"Do you like it? I think if my music class offers it, I'm going to take up guitar."

"Love it. Harry and I learned how to play in Sixth Form." he said, taking another swig of his drink.

"Then, he tried to teach me how to play, but I wasn't very good and he got too frustrated trying to help me, and so we stopped." Violet laughed.

"Did all of you go to Sixth Form together?" I asked.

"No, because when Niall was in Sixth Form, I was still in secondary school, but he and Harry did. We did all go to secondary school together, though." Violet answered as our food was sat down in front of us.

There were a few moments of just silence as we all took our first few bites and my mind was processing all of this in.

"Wait, but how is Harry English, then?" I asked, and Niall chuckled.

"He was born and raised in Cheshire, but he moved to Mullingar in year 10, I believe?" Niall glanced to Violet who seemed to be thinking the same thing over and then nodded in agreement. "Yeah, year 10. His grandparents on his mum's side are Irish, but it's a complicated story to why he was raised in England. I can never remember the half of it, you'd have to ask him."

"I'm not actually sure Jenson cares enough to ask Harry." Violet laughed, causing me to chuckle as well.

Lunch was really fun. I liked Niall a lot, which is good because he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He and Violet had been together since she was fifteen, and he was sixteen, as I'd learned a couple weeks back. He'd even given her a promise ring before he left for Uni last year. Violet and Niall were a match made in heaven, if you ask me.

Niall and Violet were going to the outlet after lunch, and invited me along, but I had a class at five o'clock and although it was only two, I wanted to just get some alone time in. They understood and dropped me off in front of our building. Sadly as I entered, I noticed that the make-out couple was back, and sucking each other’s faces off quite feverishly. So, with a heavy sigh, I started up the four flights of stairs. I’d never thought I’d be quite so happy to see a hallway in my life like I did after that. When I opened the door to our floor, I looked down the hallway and nearly gasped at the figure propped against the wall next to my door.
