"Run!"

Everywhere she looked she saw violence, be it combat, torturing or murder, it was nearly too much for such an innocent child barley three years of age to witness. She was being dragged along the corridors, her mother  ushering her to run faster and keep her eyes forward. Holding her hand was her only friend, Jack, five years of age, this was also too much for him. However, he stuck with her, and for that, she was greatful. They ran through the white Corridors, now stained with the blood of the enemies who attacked and the people who were trying to protect her. She was getting tired, trying to stop, but her mother kept pulling her on, her feet dragged against the floor. "Mother pleas, can we stop? I'm getting tired". She pleaded, still running. "Not yet dear, we're almost there, do you want me to carry you?" Her mother tried to comfort her, her daughter had no idea what was going on, and she wanted to keep it that way. She did not wait for her daughter to answer the question, in one quick movement, she pulled her daughter up to her in her arms, bringing her close into her chest in a protective manner. "Jack keep up", she ushered her daughter's friend to stay behind. Her mother led her into a small room, free of all the violence and gore, and the walls were untainted by anyone's blood. Inside waiting, was her most loyal servant, by the name of Abdom, her living husband, Erik, and a fairly old man, clutching at a gold staff. "Odin....." Her mother panted, trying to regain her breath. She put her daughter back on the ground, and she ran for her father. "Father!" His daughter ran up to him, he picked her up and squeezed her in a tight embrace. This may, after all, be the last time he sees his daughter again. "My darling", he whispered in her hair. "Odin, you must take my daughter, her friend, and my servant to Midgard.....its.....its....the only place safe for them right now". Her mother interrupted the father-daughter embrace. From her words, anyone could tell she was trying to be strong, but sadness was hinted in her words. "Midgard? Elizabeth, I assure you, she will be much safer in Asgard, my home. I will treat your child as my own. She will live the life of luxury and shall be with people who are not as cold as the Midgardians". Odin promised. "No Odin! He will find her there, just please, try to understand, she must survive no matter what! Take no chances, she must be kept safe at all costs!" Elizabeth pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes. Odin did nothing but nod his head sorrowfully. "Miss, what about you and your husband?" Abdom interrupted, worried about his master and mistress's wellbeing. She searched for the right words to tell her caring servant but her husband interrupted. "Tell her....when she's old enough, about her destiny, about who she is, she will someday need to know." He said, putting his daughter down and gave his wife  a comforting look. Just than the doors were bursted open, the room was quickly filled with armored men, and one hooded man. Odin and Abdom hid the two infants out of sight, concealed behind their large frames. Elizabeth and Erik stood in front of them all, brave and strong, glaring at the hooded man, who now has his sword drawn. "Are you ready to negotiate?" Was all the came out of the hooded man's mouth. Elizabeth scowled at him, showing her white teeth. "Svartálfaheimr (realm of the dark elves) will never be yours as long as i'm alive!" She yelled at him taking dangerous steps towards him. The man simply laughed. "Well........i guess i'm going to have to change that", All in one swift move, he thrusted his sword into her middle. She let out a blood-freezing scream that would make the hairs on your neck stand on end, full of excruciating pain and blood was oozing from the gaping hole that was going threw her body, all of it pooling at her feet, He let her go limp on his sword before releasing her, she fell, lifeless to the ground with a 'THUMP' a sound that the little girl will never forget. Time seamed to slow down for everyone in the room as her now lifeless body lay still, in her own blood, everyone staring at her lifeless corpse with wide eyes, even her murderer was smilling proudly at his 'handiwork'. "ELIZABETH!" Erik screamed out sadness booming in every letter. Abdom, never mind his skinny lanky figure, managed to hold him back, with much effort of course. "MOTHER!" the little girl cried, trying to get past Odin's figure to run to her mother's side, but no matter how painful it was for him to do it, he kept her behind him. The hooded figure snapped his head towards the infants cry. "Ah, how could I forget you? Come closer to me, my dear". He said crouching to her level, his arms open, as if expecting an embrace. He got none. "Odin! Get her out of here!" Erik turned his head and shouted towards Odin's direction. Odin grabbed her hand tightly, but not to hurt her and shouted clearly "HEIMDALL!" a bright circle appeared around the four, and the last thing the girl saw was the hooded man lunging towards her, a knife in his hands. She cried in pain as the knife reached her shoulder, leaving two overlapping deep cuts there. Than she saw a rainbow bridge, the sight before her was blurred by her many tears cascading down her cheeks, she grabbed onto Odin's cape, crying into it, wishing all this never happened, wishing her mother was there to stroke her hair and whisper soothing words into her ear but that never came, it never would come. "She's gone isen't She? She's never coming back, never". The girl sobbed rubbing her face in Odin's cape. Odin looked sympathetically at her. "Child, i-" "father?" A voice from behind Odin caused the all-father to turn around, not shifting the weeping girl from his cape. "Loki, this isn't a good time-" Odin said, and it certainly wasn't a good time for his own young son to interfere, this girl now has no parents, and he did not want to increase her sadness, for it would be pure torture for her to see other children such as her, have parents when she has none. "Who's that?" Loki said interested, noticing the crying figure weeping in his father's cape. Odin opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the small girl. "Kiyanna.......my name is Kiyanna" she stuttered, her throat was painfully sore from her loud sobbing emerging from Odin's cape. "W-who are y-you?" She asked in curiosity. "Loki.......Loki Odinson". He said with a bow, "Are you alright?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. He did not get an answer, all he got was louder sobbing, Loki looked panicked, as if he'd upset her badly. "I'm sorry!" He said suddenly holding her hand, "here, have this as a sign of my apology". He reached into his pocket and brought his hand back up, and offered his hand to her, in his hand layed a small metallic green stone, you would not count it as a gift, but it was the only thing the boy had on him. The little girl took it slowly, looking at the object in her hands and gave him a small smile, "T-thank y-you". She said through large sobs, and Loki nodded his head to her, Oden put an large hand on his shoulder, "My son, i shall tell you all when I'm done here", Loki nodded and before Odin and Kiyanna walked into the Bifrost, he shouted to her, "I hope we meet again soon, Kiyanna!" He said trying to make his voice heard. She turned her head around still walking, her eyes now red and puffy from crying, she sadly smiled at him, and nodded her head. "Heimdall!" Odin called, the large, black man in the center of the dome-like Bifrost looked up to see his king, nodding in Acknowledgment. "Take us to midgard!" He commanded. "As my king wishes", Heimdall, the keeper of worlds said in his deep booming voice. All sky saw was a flash of light than, nothing.
