Analissa is 14 (this book goes on untill she's 18) and about to start high school. She is socially awkward and bullied for it. Plus a total tomboy.
Her and her three friends ignore all the bullying and get through everything. She did not realize tha...
I look out the window and sigh. "How much longer." I ask my mom. "We are almost there," she replies. I groan. "You said that like thirty minutes ago." She doesn't respond. Ugh. This will be my fifth school in four years. Not to mention the fact that I'm starting high school.
I look out the windows and admire the scenery outside. I have to admit this time I kinda like where we are moving. It's beautiful. We just left our last home in L.A. and we are moving to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I always wanted to move to a beach as a young child. I guess moving here was something to look forward to. I'm not ready for high school in my opinion.
I'm 5'4. I have dirty blond hair (it's naturally darker but I get blond highlights a lot) and brown eyes. People from my old school say and I quote 'You have a body to die for' but I'm way to modest to admit that. I'm no doubt a Cupid girl. I give advice to lots of girls about boys and stuff. Although I've never actually been in a steady relationship and I don't plan on getting into one because I'm only 14 and I need to focus on school more than anything right now.
Speaking of school, I start in three days and I'm very nervous. I don't know how people will judge me. I have a short temper and I'm pretty athletic. Not to brag or anything. I've always been a good Volleyball player. I wanted to join teams at my old school but since we move a lot I don't get to.
This year my mom says it's different. She says we'll stay here. I'm glad because I like knowing I can stay somewhere and be normal. Me and my mom were not extremely close. We were kind of just aware of each other. She blames me that my father left. She got pregnant with me accidentally and when she wouldn't abort me he left. I never knew him so I don't really miss him.
Anyways, I've been the new girl for a while. I know how to deal with people and stuff. I ignore them. They ignore me and we are all good. You see, people are like bees. They will notice you and stuff but as long as you don't mess with them, they won't sting. You have to stay out of their way and not draw any attention to yourself.
I look at the new house we will be living in. It's a two story brick house that's fairly wide and has more space than we need inside. It's just the two of us. Whatever though. I like having space away from my mom because whenever she sees me, a look of regret shows in her eyes.

----------------------------------------------What do you guys think about this chapter??? Pls leave comments. Also the person playing Annie is Lilly Collins. If you do not like that you can use your imagination but I think she fits the role. Lastly, if any of you would like to play a character you can message me and I will consider it. Lots of love, -Anna
