"Mommy?" You turned around in a big circle looking up at all the people walking past you none of them resembling your mothers face. "Mommy!" You yelled you begin walking, you were inside a huge mall with crowds of people everywhere! "Mommy wouldn't leave me yet right teddy?" You asked your F/C teddy bear hugging it close to your heart, you began increasing the speed on walking to jogging past stores. You felt your eyes get hot "Mommy left me" You say quietly as hot tears poured from your eyes It was as if you were invisible nobody paid any attention to you. You walk over to a blue chair in the center of the mall and sit down "where do I search for mommy?" You wiped the tears away with your sleeve of your F/C sweater as you asked your Teddy bear again. You stayed seated for a while clicking your F/C shoes together you began to stand up and grabbed Your Stuffed bear with you "Daddy and Mommy always say to be brave no matter what.." You say to yourself as you walk slowly looking up at the people that pass you eventually you found yourself scared again "what if I'm a bad girl for not staying where I was?" You sniffled as fresh tears rolled down your cheeks onto the cold, white tiles. You were patted on the head by someone "Oi" you look up to see a raven haired man with a put out look, you being at such a young age the first thing you think is stranger danger! "No get away from me!" You shout putting your teddy bear In front of yourself but the man only comes closer "I won't hurt you kid" you stop backing away from this raven haired man and slowly lift down your bear once you start taking in every feature of this well dressed man you began tearing up "You're lost aren't you kid?" He asks bending down to your level "yes I'm lost...I can't find my mommy anywhere!" You inform him "can you tell me what she looks like?" He asks giving you a hanker chief in the process "Umm..well mommy is taller then you and she has H/C hair" you try describing your mother as best as you could even though the put out looked man rolled his eyes at the first description you told him "look brat a lot of people are taller then me, do you remember what she was wearing?" You began to furrow your brows trying to remember what your mother was wearing. "Oh! I know she had a weird blue patterned shirt that had blocks" you said as the raven haired man nodded "I'm F/N by the way and I'm 5!" You say giving the man a small smile "you can call me Levi" Levi says "Okay" you say raising your arms up when Levi stands up "if you think I'm carrying you your sadly mistaking brat" Levi says grabbing your small hand in his own, you nod to his remark and start slowly skipping while holding Levis hand looking at all the stores as the both of you walk "How old are you?" You ask Levi "that's none of your business" he says "do you have any dogs or cats?" You ask another question hoping to get somewhere "I have a black cat" he says "oh is her fur the color of your hair?" You ask Levi just nods "do you like Maccy cheese?" You ask now trying not to walk on the black lines carved around the tiles while holding Levi's hand "Maccy cheese is really good my mommy makes the best maccy cheese!" you say Levi finds himself almost smiling in amusement "remind me to ask your mother to make me some for returning you back to her" Levi says "Okay Levi!" You shout in a playful attitude. It's been 20 minutes of walking around and Levi couldn't finds your mother anywhere Levi began sighing in frustration "Tch" he begins speeding up his pace as he walks inside Rue21 "Oi brat what's your last name?" Levi asks "hmm.. it's L/N" you say "got it" Levi says then shouts out loud "Mrs. L/N?" Nothing, nobody turned to the name "next store" Levi grabs your small hands and begins walking out to the next store 'Victoria secret' "Sh*t" he mutters knowing that in the store there will be slightly exposed woman posing sexually "You still want me to hold you kid?" He asks you look up at him for a while before nodding "yes please!" You hold up your arms and Levi scoops you up and holds you with one arm "how high can you count?" Levi asks you "I learned to count to 100!" You say feeling proud of yourself. Levi then makes you close your eyes and count as high as you can "Mrs. L/N!" He yells walking past the underwear and bras "35...36..37"you count trying not to mess up "Mrs. L/N?" Levi shouts out by the changing room doors, nothing "51..52...53", no one spoke up at all so Levi left the store "you can open your eyes now" he says walking to a children's clothing store "Mrs. L/N?" He shouts "Levi...this mall is too big for you to do this in every store" you say resting your head on his shoulder, Levi hated to admit but you were right there was no way he could keep doing this suddenly, a young lady with blonde hair taps Levi's other shoulder "excuse me I'm Mrs. L/N did you need something?" The lady asks you lift your head up at look at the young woman "you're not my mommy" you say putting your head back on Levi's shoulder "looks like there's not" Levi says before leaving the store, this wasn't how Levi planned his trip to the mall at all but he was very determined to find your mother, "Oi brat" you turned your head to face Levi "your heavy as all hell so I'm putting you down" Levi says setting you back down you hug your F/C teddy bear trying to keep Levis warmth wrapped around you. After sometime of asking people and cashiers if they've seen your mother they all said 'no'. Levi looked down to see you staring at the Disney store window "would you like to look around?"Levi asks you nod your head giving a big smile as you start walking to the entrance with Levi you see walls of dresses and walls of stuffed animals and much more "My names buzz light year!" Levi turns to see you clicking buttons on a toy story toy, you began looking at the dresses "Levi which Disney princess do you think my favorite is?" You ask " P/N?" Levi asks "nope! My favorite princess is P/N" you say picking up a pooh bear stuffed animal. Levi was getting a headache from all the Disney music playing so the both of you left and continued the search for you mother. Levi slowly began finding himself actually happy and it was being with a 5 year old, Levi begins playing with your hair "Levi" you look up at Levi and he hums in reply "will we ever find my mommy?" You ask getting choked up "don't cry brat I'll make sure I'll find her, she would never leave you" Levi says reassuringly "Thank you Levi" you say hugging his arm as you both started walking again a thought came to your head "if we do find my mommy does that mean I'll never see you again?" You ask. Levi felt like a weight fell on his heart when you said that "Yes, I suppose so.." Levi says "I don't want you to go away forever" you say with tears "I won't be going away forever F/N" Levi said ruffling your hair angelically "then where will you go?" You ask stopping your walking paste with Levi. Levi stops too and turns around to face you "I promise I'll see you again when you're older kid" Levi says pulling you in for a hug. When the hug ended you and Levi stared at eachother for a moment before Levi thought of an idea a shiny penny idea more or so "Tch, would you like a gift to remind you of me?" Levi asks grabbing your hand and walking to a jewelry store. When you go inside the jewelry store Levi begins looking through the glass cases at necklaces "I can't believe I'm doing this especially for a kid" Levi says before asking you a question "what month were you born in?" Levi asks you "My birthday is in [Month]!" You say "I love getting cake on my birthday!" You shout afterwards smiling. Levi knew which necklace to get you now "How long would it take to do this design right here?" Levi asks a young man behind the desk "that sir will take about 20 minutes to add the right stone colors properly and 10 minutes to engrave whatever you'd like on the necklace the finished cost will range from 40 to 50 dollars" the young man says. After some time of thinking Levi decided to do the necklace "Levi look at the charm in this case it has hearts on it! Oh and look at this one!" You kept dragging Levis hand to where you wanted to show Levi the charms. After 20 minutes pass Levi and you sit down and wait in two chairs, you were humming and playing with your F/C bear while Levi sat quietly and watched you play. After a while the young man came back and tapped Levi on the shoulder and gave him a rose colored box "it's all finished for you sir!" The man says "Thank you" Levi says before turning over to you "Oi F/N I'd like to give you your present somewhere special" Levi says "okay!" You nod excitedly hopping off the chair with your bear in one hand and your other hand holding Levis. After a while Levi stopped in front of the malls water fountain "Wowwww" you looked to see water coming out of pipes and jumping into other pipes. You turn to Levi to see he's sitting down on the ledge so he was at your height "just remember that I'll always stick with you if you ever get lost again" Levi says opening the box to reveal a heart shaped necklace in silver chaining with both Levis and yours birth stone colors outlining the heart, then engraved on one side of the heart it says 'F/N' and the other side has 'Levi' both names written beautiful in cursive "it's so beautiful!" You say smiling, almost practically making Levi fall into the fountain when you jumped on him for a hug "Thank you Levi!" You say "I haven't even gotten it around your neck so hold still" after you stand up like Levi said he pulls your hair back and starts clasping the necklace around your neck "I'm going to wear this forever and ever!" You say smiling as tears fall from your eyes, Levis eyes widen on how difficult it is for a 5 year old to say goodbye to someone..after all a child heart is fragile. "F/N?!" You turn around to see your mother standing with her arms open wide "Mommy!!" You yell and leap right into your mothers arms "it's okay baby girl I've got you now" she cooed Levi slowly walked up to your mother "you're Mrs. L/N?" Levi asks "Yes I am!" Your mother gives Levi a warm smile "Mommy can you make Levi maccy cheese since he helped me find you? I promised him!" You said smiling "umm.. kid I was just joking" Levi says feeling awkward on how he couldn't hold you anymore since your mother was here. "Would you like to come over for a home made meal? It looks like F/N has grown a big liking to you" your mother snickers. Levis eyes slightly widen "if that's alright with you and your family ma'm" Levi says slowly reaching out and gently stroking your head,"Yes of course!" Your mother says. After your mother and Levi talked for a while it was time to say goodbye "see you again soon Levi!" You say hugging Levi by surprise "yeah see you soon brat" he says picking up up and giving you a proper hug. After saying your goodbye you grab your mothers hand softly and you both start going your separate ways... "Wait! There's something I want to give Levi!" You say turning around and running back to Levi "Levi!!" You yell, Levi turns around and sees you running towards him "I want you to have this" you hold out a small hair-clip shaped as a heart "it's not much but if we never see each other again you can think of me when you look at it!" you say smiling "I have lots of other pretty hair pins at home so you can keep this one" your smile grows wider when you see Levi clip the hair-clip onto his neck tie. "Not bad" Levi says smirking, you then start running back to your mother who stood and watched the whole scene unfold from afar "mommy" you tug on your mothers sleeve "yes F/N?" Your mother asks "the reason I gave Levi something was because he gave me something you want to see it?" You said cheerfully "Sure dear let's see it" your mother says. You pull your hair back and turn so your mother can see "Levi said that if I ever get lost again I'll be able to find my way back with this!" Your mother looked shocked to see something so beautiful around your neck, she begins smiling and asks "so what else happened while I wasn't with you?" She asks grinning "Oh nothing!" You say "mhm, sure pumpkin" she says. Now Levi wasn't always with you but you knew that he was always with you right here in your heart....

This was just a short little story I thought of...and I thought it would be a good idea to start it at 3 in the morning A+ to me! I stayed up till 6 in the morning working on this cause I couldn't sleep at all so then when I got the chance today I had to fix a few things for example, I'd skip a few words so then I'd have to try and figure out what word I was trying to put there 👏🏻👌🏻 anyways I hope someone enjoyed reading this!~ feel free to comment some one shot ideas you guys would like me to do in the future~
