"No, I don't like that! You're burning off my afro please get the fuck off of me!"

I laughed and hopped off him. I grabbed my towel and washcloth to go take a shower. While the water was getting hot, I brushed my teeth and placed my hair in a tight bun so it would'nt get wet. I took a shower for about fifteen minutes before I got out and went back inside of my room. I lotioned my body then put on my clothes and a pair of peach sandals that exposed my newly painted toenails.

For my makeup, I applied a little bit of concealer here and there then eyeliner for my top and bottom line. I left my hair in its natural curly state since I thought it actually looked cute today. I ran down the stairs and saw Chresanto and Jacob starting to set the music up and take the food outside. I took a deep breath and helped them with the food and told them where to put everything at.

"Where's your little boyfriend at?" Chresanto asked me, handing me the pan of baked beans.

I shrugged. "I don't know and I don't really care. I'm just worried about having fun tonight."

Soon enough, people started coming. Our next door neighbors arrived first then friends and family started arriving too. The whole entire street was filled with cars.
,
"Hey, girl!" November greeted, giving me a tight hug.

"Hey, where's that friend of yours?" I asked, referring to Darshay.

"Please get your friend and tell her to stop acting like she's handicap. Asking me to help her out the car. She's barely two months pregnant! Tell Darshay to catch her life!"

"I heard that, heffa," She said, smacking November on her back. "I was asking if you could help me out because my back was hurting,"

"I can't stand you." November said.

"I can't stand you either but you're still my best friend either way."

"I feel the same way about you, Hussy. Where's the food and drinks at, Brielle?"

"Everything is in the back, child. Where do you think the music is playing from? Use your senses."

"You know what, you and Darshay make me mad. Ya'll are some real negros." She screamed, walking through the back door.

Both Darshay and I started laughing at November. Her mad ass always stays salty. Darshay and I walked through the back door and joined the crowed of people who were playing beer pong even though Darshay could'nt drink. It was Me, Chresanto, Darshay, and my older cousin, Jack on one team playing agaist Jacob, November, my younger cousin Mia, and her boyfriend. We were having some real fun until the DJ announced the twerking contest coming up in a few minutes.

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I instantly knew what and who it was. I first warned the DJ to not start the twerking contest until I come back. I ran to the front door and looked behind me to make sure no one was near me. I opened the door and first handed her the envelope with her money.

"It was about damn time you open the door." Jamie said, snatching the envelope out of my hand.

"I'm sorry, Jamie. Your hotel key is in there as well." I replied.

She handed me a big black bag and gave Lani a kiss before she ran off into the black car that she came in. Before I closed the door, she beeped her horn and yelled, "Make sure my child stays safe!"

I rolled my eyes. Jamie is just something else. "Lani! How are you?" I asked her, as I held her hand while we walked to my room.

"I'm fwine! I no see you in a long time!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down.
