CHAPTER 11

As Nathan hugged me, he was rocking on my ankle, making it extremely painful. As he was letting go of my, he put my weight back onto my ankle, making me wince badly. Nathan then looked down at me with a confused but worried look on his face

"what's wrong? What happened?" he asked

"um............well..........a wolf kinda...........bite.......my ankle" I said hesitantly

"you mean a werewolf" he said while sniffing the air

"you" he said looking at Damien

"you bit her, why? Why do this to Melody? She is innocent and has nothing to do with werewolves, so why?" Nathan asked Damien, raising his voice with every word.

"I do agree with you Nathan, but how do you and Melody know each other?" Cameron asked

"well, me and Nathan were niebours, we were the bestest of friends since, I was born. When I four and Nathan was 8 he promised my dad that he would take care of me, since Nathan's parents are part of the agency my parents worked for, his parents trained him fighting skills, everything. After my dad died, Nathan's parents took me and Tyler in then when I was 8 me and Tyler ran, we ran because I knew the risk of being with Nathan and his family, if Carlos had found me then he would've killed them as well and I couldn't let that happen.

The night me and Tyler ran, Carlos was planning an attack on the house, so I made sure Carlos knew we were running" I said, being ashamed that I never went back to tell Nathan.

"So you basically saved our lives! Melody, you know I love you and will never leave you, and I thank you so much that you risked yours and Tyler's life for me and my family but you didn't have to" he said.

I felt so much better when he said that he will never leave me and that he loves me.

"Thank you, but you would've died, and I can't loose someone close to me and you know that. Anyway, how do you and Cameron know each other?" I asked looking between the two.

"Well after you ran me, mum, dad, Jason and Serina (Nathan's sister and brother and they are twins) went looking for you. After a year of looking we moved to here, thinking that you would've been hiding in the woods. I went running, shouting your name every 5 seconds. I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into a werewolf, since my dad is an alpha of one of the most powerful packs and no one would dare cross our territory except a rogue. My first instinct was to shift and attack, as I attacked, Cameron moved at the last minute and we got into a fight. After a while our dads came out to check on us and saw us fighting. Our dads commended us to shift back, so we did and explained that we are neighbouring packs" Nathan said,

'wait he said shifted and his dad is an alpha' I said to myself.

"Wait, wow, back up, you said your dad is an alpha and that you shifted as in............." I trailed off

"as in shifted into a werewolf. I never told you but, I'm a werewolf,son of Alpha David. My packs name is midnight moon."
