" Excuse me sir have you seen a man with blond-ish hair and green eyes anywhere?"
" No I have not will you give me the name."
" Stefan Salvatore."
" I'll keep an eye out."

Elena's POV: Two days earlier
" Happy Birthday to you." Everyone sang while Lily was sitting at the table on her fifth birthday about to blow out the candles." Make a wish." I said with a smile once the song was over. She blew out her candles with a huge smile on her face." Who knew we could throw a party." Damon said with a smile. I looked around the room and I saw everyone I loved and Lily and Damon loved. I saw my beautiful daughter, my handsome husband, Alaric and the twins, Caroline and Klaus, and Bonnie and Enzo.Stefan and Katherine aren't here because well Katherine made Stefan turn off his humanity so she can have " fun " with him. We watched Lily open her presents and then the twins and Lily played with the new toys she got. I gathered all the adults and told them the plan." We're going to take the kids to the carnival in ten minutes." I said. Lily heard me and so did the twins and looked up at us with big smiles on their faces. We got to the fair and went on the faris wheel. We were about to go on a little ride for the kids then appeared Stefan and Katherine." Uncle Stefan I missed you!" Lily said running to Stefan but we pulled her away." What are you doing here brother?" Damon asked." Being at my nieces birthday party and looking for people to kill." Stefan said." Maybe your precious little Lily." Stefan said." Elena take Lily and run." Damon whispered. I took her hand and started to run but Stefan took her and held her neck. She started to cry." Leave her alone!" I yelled." Mommy I can't breathe!" Lily yelled gasping for breath. Damon took a branch and shoved it in Stefan's stomach and he dropped Lily." Come here baby." I said. She ran over to me and hugged me. Damon ran over to me and we found everyone and left.
