Lying lifelessly within a winding web of lifelong lies
Now lucidly, they appear to her, making bright her dark blue eyes
Awaking finally, a dream state ends, and the truth becomes apparent,
Clearly now, she sees through him, as though he was transparent.
Harrowing, the details of his exploits, black hearted
Meetings with the devils, when the light of day departed.
He sold his soul to Lucifer, or one such just as wicked,
Hoping, maybe one day, that his actions be acquitted
By his darling, loving lady, who slept near but none the wiser,
Until that fateful day, he took a chance, raised her visor
To each and every single of his abhorrent, noxious acts.
However, never, could he foresee, how swiftly she'd retract.
Disappearing, without a trace for him, or at least that's how she had it planned.
But, out of the corner of her eye, she missed the movement of a hand.
Out of nowhere it hit her, a shock-wave through the brain,
Her body slumped against the wall, at least she felt no pain. . .
