He was an oxymoron. Seems so serious and strict whereas, he's actually nothing but a huge softie who's full of spirit.

Lilly was unintentionally eye-raping him. She took in every single detail and was literally stunt by how good-looking he was, but she couldn't help but compare him to Andrew. Andrew was differently better. A whole new level. Way higher than Flynn's.

In Lilly's eyes, Andy was like the Sun. He had people orbiting around him; some were so close it burned them, some were so far they were the coldest they could be because they wanted to be closer. The lucky ones were in the perfect distance to feel his warmness and live with him peacefully. In one way or another, all the people that met him felt attracted to him. He was the brightest person you could ever meet.

And her? Well, in his little System, she saw herself as Pluto: a strange, little cold planet that no one wanted around the Sun, but who oddly was spinning around him in circles, in the opposite direction as everyone else.

And how would the Sun notice Pluto if it was said to that little planet that it would never be big enough or close enough to form part of his System?

"Hello there Kates!" Flynn greeted cheerfully. "How are you doing this fine day? Oh wait, nevermind. Don't wanna know. Won't you introduce your friend?"

That guy was wishing for an early death. What he had said made Katelyn boil with fury.

"Do not call me Kates," she demanded through gritted teeth.

Lilly sensed the awkwardness and tried to break the tension, so she extended her hand for him to shake it smiling. "Hi, I'm Lilly Wilson. Katelyn's partner in crime."

She might not be smiling from her heart but she's trying to have a good time. Of course, she can't be all depressed right now. That's the least she could do in return to what her friend has been doing to help her cope with the breakup.

"Great! Now I have someone to get her dirty little secrets from," He smirked sending Kate -who was glaring daggers at him - a wink.

And with that Kate pinched Lilly's waist.

"Ouch! What did I do?" Lilly shouted, deep-voiced.

Flynn was as surprised as everyone else at the workplace.

Kate's still hot-tempered because of him. It was not supposedly his fault.

A couple minutes ago, Katelyn and Lilly delightfully were admiring kittens online. They had only made it halfway through the clip when the boss walked in.

His eyes; filled with jet black ink, held a grimace and fearsome gaze. He wore a never-before-worn suit: something he does frequently.

His eyebrow raised in amusement at my reaction; nothing, not a flinch, not a single damn thing.

"Enjoying ourselves, aren't we Ms Reed?" He asked, "How much do we pay you again?"

They both gradually stood up, and Katelyn shivered. Her scare instantly turned to rage as he left.

And without a word to her friend, she walked out of her small cosy office and stomped into Flynn's.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, EVERYTHING IS."

His head snapped to her, surprised as ever at her outburst.

"Huh?"

She tread heavily and noisily, typically in order to show her anger. When the office desk was between them, she pointed out her index finger accusingly and emphasised every word as she talked. "You ruined everything."

"Since the very first day you stood a foot in here and you became the only cause of my misery, you aggravating arsehole!"

He stood up from his spinning chair, leaving it to sway to the side. Squinting his eyes at her, he walked around causing her to turn her body to face him. He kept taking steps towards her until his face was only mere inches from hers. Even with her 10 inch heels on, she barely reached his shoulder.

The world is still a weird place, despite my efforts to make clear and perfect sense of it.
