She giggled at his actions. "I suppose I should start getting breakfast ready..."

"You could, but I'm not really hungry, so don't make anything for me." He got up out of bed and began rummaging through his drawers to look for clothes to wear.

"Oh, alright. I won't bother then." She stretched out on his bed, spreading out her arms and legs like a starfish.

He stood up clothes in hand, taking his shirt off. "That is my bed, you know that right? You can't take up all of it." He pulled a new clean shirt over his head and tossed the other in the dirty laundry.

"Well you're not using it right now, so if you decide to come back, I will make room for you." She smiled, watching the rise and fall of her chest.

He rolled his eyes as he went to unbutton his pants, stopping right before he did. "You may want to look away, it's about to get PG13 in here." He said glancing at Addie.

"Ooh, sexy~" She turned to face the wall, her cheeks blushing bright red.

"That depends on how you look at it. If you find black boxers attractive, then yes, I guess this is sexy." Jake pulled off his pants, throwing them in the basket and pulling on his clean pair.

"They're alright." She joked, giggling a bit. "But I do like navy blue the best."

"Oh man, you're a day too late." He said, continuing the joke. "Come by again next week and then you'll get to see them, sounds good?" He dropped onto the edge of the bed, falling backwards, looking at her upside down.

"Very." She winked at him, her blush getting brighter and brighter by the second.

Jake clicked his tongue, making Doubt crawl towards him and lay across his chest. "Of course you do this. Why am I not surprised?" He asked the animal sprawled out on him.

"Why are you?" She asked with another fit of giggles.

Petting the cat, Jake looked up at her. "You're being very playful this morning with all the jokes and giggle fits. Whats got you in such a good mood?"

"I don't know." She shrugged, a smile still on her face.

He got up, placing the cat on the bed and started to walk out if the room. "I'm going to make coffee, if you want any come out here." He called as he walked down the hallway.

She followed him out to the hall, pausing at her door. "Yeah, I'll be there in a second." She started to giggle again. "Oh, and I'm wearing black too." She burst out laughing, closing the door to her bedroom.

He walked into the kitchen, turning on the coffee maker and pulling out two mugs. As the coffee brewed, he grabbed a can of cat food and set it on the counter for Doubt to eat later.

Addie walked out of her room, now dressed for the day. She went over and sat on the counter, lightly kicking her feet back and forth as she watched the coffee steadily drip into the pot.

"Hey, can you turn on the news? I need to check if I got any updates from the surrounding ships." Jake walked out of the kitchen and into the dark control room. He turned the lights on and began flipping every switch to turn all of the computers on. Ignoring the memories that were flooding in from last night, he pulled up the notifications showing the message and missed call.

"Yeah." She hopped down and walked over to the television, taking the remote and pressing the power button.

"There haven't been anymore reported deaths on Mars, but they finally got some people to go there and start identifying the dead bodies." Jake said, summing up the message as he read. "The NASA scientists haven't been found and are still unidentified." He continued, his eyes scanning over the last couple of sentences. "Most connections with other ships have been deactivated due to an 'unknown virus'." He rolled his eyes closing off the message, pulling up the footage being recorded on Mars.
