~Your POV~
I stood behind the front desk waiting for a costumer. I've been here for basically my whole shift and only one small girl walked through that door looking for a new ukulele. I slouched a bit, I know its 'bad posture' but I just want to get comfortable, and sighed grabbing out my phone for a quick check to see if anyone had messaged me. Nothing, like usual. I then herd a ding from the bell above the front entrance. The bell disturbed the silence, scaring me. I jumped and let out a small squeak. I quickly put away my phone and forced a smile. I looked at the costumer and saw that he seemed to lack what most humans bear, eyes. I stood there, shock clearly painted on my face. He turned his head to face me and I shook out of my alarmed state.
"Hello" I chirped, a little nervousness in my voice.
"Hi, uh Do you carry strings?"
"For?"
"Bass guitar"
"Uh yeah, one second" I reassured him and walked into the back room to grab the stings for the... eyeless man. I came back and he was still there, eyes glued to his phone, his facial expression was anything but relaxed. He hastily put the money in my hand and grabbed the package containing the strings.
"Keep the change" he quickly spoke and rushed out the door.
"Uh, thanks?..." I questioned to nothing. I looked at my phone once again 7:00 my shift is over. "Finally, that took forever." I muttered to myself. 'I wonder what was on that guys phone.' I thought to myself. I closed the shop and started my long, lonely, walk home.
The pattering of my shoes hitting the cement was the only thing I could hear but when I got to the park I couldn't help but hear someone whispering. My curiosity took control of me and I stopped walking and looked around attempting to hear where it was coming from but I could hardly see anything, it was way too dark. Then it stopped, like if the person had seen me. 'They couldn't have... its way to dark' thought to myself as I looked up only to be nearly blinded due to the light of a street lamp 'oh' . I looked back down at the landscape of the darkened park and saw a glimpse of a figure quickly moving behind a tree followed with a faint mumble of the word 'shit' . Curiosity still taking the wheel, I cautiously walked over to the area of interest and saw a figure laying on the ground looking closer I saw that it was the eyeless man from work he seemed to have passed out somehow. A heavy feeling of being watched then hit me. A thought ran through my head saying that it's probably not safe to be here. Horrified, I quickly started up my journey home again leaving the man. Every so often looking over my shoulder. I turned the corner to the next road and heard an extra pattering of feet behind me. The beat a bit faster than mine. I sped up to match the beat of the other person's steps but they only got faster. And before I could tell my feet to accelerate I felt a cold hand grab my arm, and another went over my mouth. I couldn't think. Then a blanket of darkness draped over my face. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and I was out cold...
There's a cliffhanger for ya. Sorry not sorry (jk kinda sorry). Hope you enjoyed part one :). I will try to make chapter two soon but I will probably take a while because I'm unorganized and lazy trash. Anyways guys thank you for reading this and I'll see you in the next chapter my lil' marshmallows.
