Preference #6: Song Preference "Into the Wild" by Lewis Watson

Start from the beginning

"You're perfect, you know that?" Ashton murmurs as he crawls into bed next to you, waking you up from a deep sleep. You rub your eyes and look over at the clock...3 AM, and Ash had just now gotten home from the studio.

"It's so late," you groan as you roll towards him. He chuckles softly as he immediately takes you into his arms, rubbing your back gently. "Why were you out so late?"

"Recording with the boys," he replies softly as he strokes your hair and kisses your forehead repeatedly for a few minutes. "I'm so sorry, love. I know we were supposed to hang out today." You wake up a little more, but bite your lip and look down, shaking your head. You were so disappointed that Ash had to ditch you today, but you didn't want to be the person that kept him from chasing his dreams.

"It's okay," you answer softly, quickly swiping away a tear before Ashton can see it, but you're too late. He sighs quietly and presses his forehead to yours, wiping another tear away and then gently resting his hand on your cheek.

"It's not okay, babe, and I know that. I'm sorry," he says, repeating "I'm sorry" over and over as he pulls you closer. You bury your face in his chest and continue to cry, your small body shaking in his arms. "Baby doll..." he whispers into your hair, regret evident in his voice. "Baby, please don't cry."

"I just... It's just hard, Ash. I don't want to be that girl, and I don't want to sound needy, but I need you. I need you around more. I feel like I never see you, and when you're free, you'd rather be with the boys. I don't know what I did wrong, but I'm sorry. I just can't put up with this lifestyle anymore..." you admit, finally reaching your breaking point and starting to sob. For a little while, your sobs are the only sound in the room. After a few minutes, you look up at Ashton and feel incredibly guilty. "I..." you begin, but you're interrupted by Ashton lightly kissing your lips.

"Babe, I don't want that to be my way of life. I want you to be my way of life. At the end of the day, all that matters to me is you. You're my everything, and you have my heart. I haven't been treating you like the princess you are lately, and I can't tell you how much I hate that. I want to be the world's most perfect boyfriend, but I'm not, even though that's what you deserve. I can't believe that you're still with me, but I swear that I'll keep trying to treat you how you deserve. You are my everything, (Y/N), and I want you to know that. I love you." He takes a deep breath after he finishes, and you only start to cry harder as you tuck yourself even closer to him. "Oh God, what did I say?" he mutters under his breath as he tries to soothe you. You shake your head and kiss his cheek.

"You're perfect, okay? You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm willing to go through anything to make this work for us because I love you," you whisper as you look into his gorgeous hazel eyes. He grins widely and kisses your nose.

"I love you too, babe. Now sleep, okay? I feel terrible for waking you up." Ashton smiles softly as he pulls you in tight and quietly sings into your ear until he finally lulls you back to sleep.

Michael:

sea salt sits on your lips

birds fall earthward from cliffs

thought i couldn't do this but i'm fine

cause you're by my side

You look out over the ocean from your perch on a cliff above the water with your lovely boyfriend, Michael. You peek over at him and giggle as you watch him toss crackers over to the little seagulls hopping around on the edge of the precipice.

"Mike, they're Hawaiian! They probably don't eat crackers!" you exclaim as you break out into full laughter. He glances at you and shrugs, continuing to throw the crackers.
