==JOEYS POV==

How could Shane have no friends? He's perfect.

And he said he was gay.

Stop! He doesn't like you, obviously!

"So... do you like anime?"

Shane looked at me, confused.

"Did you just say anal?" Oh my god! I started laughing.

"N-no! Anime!" I still kept laughing. He gave me a lopsided smile, which looked really cute.

"I don't know what that is."

"It's Japanese! Wanna come over to my house to watch some today?"

He quickly said, "no." I felt my heart sink a little. This was definitely Gods way of saying we weren't meant to be together.

"Sorry, I'm just busy." He said. He looked a little sad, and scared. Was he scared of something at his home? Someone at his home?

"Oh, that's okay. Maybe we could hang out another time." I said.

"Sure."

He sat there, and didn't eat anything. Was he like... anorexic?

"Are you feeling okay?" I asked.

"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine." He said. I continued to eat the salad I got. I dumped my tray, and sat back down. Should I tell him I'm gay right now? Would he tell anyone? Who would he honestly tell? He doesn't have any friends, which I couldn't understand. I started talking about random things, until I got to this-

"Can I tell you something?"

"Not like I could tell anyone anyways."

"I-I'm-"

The bell rang, interrupting me. Of course, another signal from God telling me to stop. I couldn't though.

"You're what?"

"I-I'm gay."
