"Mia, come downstairs! Kyra, Sabrina, and Amour are here for the sleepover!" Dad called me down in his singsong-y voice. I saw them sitting on the couch with huge bags of clothes and some other things. I hugged each of them, then suggested we went to Starbucks, because it was cold, and we didn't have hot chocolate. Dad and mom nodded, and then we ran outside, and hopped into the back seats of the car. Of course, there was only three, so the skinniest people, me and Kyra, squeezed into one seat together. Mom turned up the music, and started the car. Dad got into the passengers seat, then mom drove off at a high speed. "Um. . . Mom? Aren't you speeding?" I asked about twenty minutes into the car ride. She looked back at me and groaned, rolling her eyes. "The speed limit is forty-five, and she's going seventy!" I whispered in the girls ears. "Let's hope we don't die!" Sabrina joked. We held hands, because all friends do that, then we sang to the music. Then I felt like we got faster.
I saw a big, black tuck start to turn in front of us. Mom didn't slow down. She didn't stop. She just drove the car straight into it's side, the back of the car, where we were, hit first, with a great explosion. "Kyra! Sabrina, Amour! I love you!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, peeing my pants a little. They screamed. I screamed. Then, everything went black.
