"Why are you leaving in the middle of the night" she asked Carl
"You know my mom is sick" he said
"I don't know, because I haven't met her Carl" She said
"The time isn't right with her sickness" he frowned
"We've been doing this for a year now and I have yet to meet your family" Kitta sniffed
"Don't start that shit Kitta, I'm a busy man" "Besides my family doesn't matter when it comes to us" he yelled
"But Carl.."
"Just leave it alone, you don't see me trying to meet your family" he said as he was leaving the room
"When are you coming back" she asked
"I don't know but I'll call you when I can okay"
Kitta stood there and watched the man that she loved walk out the door to take care of his mother, as he say. She loves him so much that whatever he says she trusts.
Kitta decided to call the one friend that she knew would listen to her.
"Hello"
"Hey boo what are you doing"
Kitta asked
"Just finished up with my last client, why wassup"
"I just need someone to talk to and some advice" Kitta said sounding sad
"How about you get yourself together and meet me at my house for a girl's night" she said
Kitta half smiled "that would be great, I'll meet you there in thirty minutes"
"Okay, I'll call Danny and get her on board" Vet said
"Okay see you then" Kitta said and hung up
She started getting her bag to put something to wear for tomorrow in it. She noticed that the gift she bought Carl wasn't there anymore but she shook any negative thoughts out her head. She loved Carl but she just felt like he was holding back from her but she was willing to wait for her man.
Could this truly be love or is she fooling herself.......
