Links Pov

Me and Y/n were on our way to Death Mountain, we were told that that's one path to the dark realm Absinthe. You have to have darkness filled in your soul or many things could happen, hallucinations, amnesia, nausea, and random sharp pains. Luckily those things can only happen in Absinthe. I know i have Dark Link within me and easily get into the dark realm, but what about Y/n. Within the time ive known her shes seemed sweet no darkness just light, Zelda has light magic so Y/n is straight up pure light. Ill just have to protect her, i planned to do that anyways. In order to get there we have to actually climb the mountain and jump on that circular cloud, then chant some cursed spell and boom were there. We were forced to memorize it by the princess. Its odd thinking of Y/n as a princess, in newspapers they always kept updates on Zelda and the royal family except Y/n. Thats probably why i never knew her, "Y/n are you really Zeldas sister." It was silent for a bit, "Link its pretty complicated." "I can understand im the hero after all," i put on a movie star smile. She gave a soft but yet fake smile, "well then 'hero' short story short my family was killed and i was adopted into the royal family." "What age were you adopted," i mostly believed her but i wanted to make sure it wasn't a lie."6 years old, a year before the hero saved time," i didn't want to tell her yet that ive seen her before. So i managed to make it more obvious with my stupidity, "Y/n what happened to your ankle, it was there before i saved you from Moblins." "I broke my ankle a long time ago," at least the girl is honest. "You know back when i saved time, i saw you the day you broke your ankle. F/c dress like Zeldas, and h/l h/c hair." She looked shocked at my words, i guess im correct.

Y/n Pov

He saw me that day. Aw man that means he saw me cry, but i do remember a visitor that day.

Flashback 7 years ago

I heard someone knock downstairs, i never really met any outsiders considering my parents said it was too dangerous. I was scared but at the same time excited. I was just busy playing some video games the usual, I got out of my chair and ran down the hall. All things eventually come to an end, once I got to the stairs I tripped on the boot my dress that was not my type.I haven't really gotten used to the whole 'princess' idea. I literally flew down some stairs and hit my ankle the wrong way at the bottom. Zelda was just walking to the door as I got there. My body hitting the ground wasn't enough sound for her to notice me, she cared for me though. I started crying a few minutes after she opened the door, you can't blame me ok my ankle really hurts. Then Zelda started to speak,"hey Link, how is everything," "everything is great actually, I'm done saving Hyrule." Saving Hyrule? What happened? I could feel his eyes on me, why did he care? They talked a little more, I zoned out and didn't hear anything else. Zelda shut the door and ran to me, "Y/n what happened!? Are you ok?!" She was in a panic,nice to know she cares. I couldn't make out any words so I pointed to my ankle then the stairs. She ran off to get help, a few minutes later she came in with some people and they secured my ankle in something then went to the infirmary.

Flashback end

A few years after that It ended up hurting again and now well I have a few tight bandages around it for protection. Wait he saw me in a dress, I don't know why I care. Do I want to make a good impression, nah. "Yeah you do look the same from the bit I saw of you Link, blond hair, green tunic, but you added tights." I smirked at him and he blushed. We finally got to the bottom of Death Mountain after random conversations we had, its higher than we thought.

Link Pov

One problem, how are we going to climb this. Y/n was smart though, she found an edge to start out on. "Link right here next to me there's another platform." I walked closer and there it was several rocks were placed like a climbing wall, she's smart. She's also athletic, Y/n was almost 1/3 up to a large platform where we should meet. I started climbing till a point where there was no longer a way to go up, so I took a look on how Y/n was doing. Everything looked fine so I paid attention to my own problem. One rock to the left but lower, one to the right but too high. There was no way unless I followed Y/n. I looked up at our destination, then I heard a cracking sound. "Y/n! Watch out!"
She looked at me with a questioning look before the rock under her foot broke and she slipped downwards. Once she reached the bottom she stood up like nothing happened, "I'm fine Link just a little scrape on my arm." I let out a breath of relief, and hopped down since I wasn't high. "Here climb on my back I'll climb your path," "Link you aren't that strong right." She doesn't have faith in me, I'll show her. Without giving her a warning I put her on my back and started back up. She cling onto my neck for life, as if I would let her fall. Eventually we got to the platform, I let her down. "I didn't think you had it in you Link, I'm sorry I doubted you," Y/n smiled and looked at me. I could feel a blush coming on, she made me feel...happy.
