I hear a knock on the door. It must be Zane. Ever since high school I have loved him, that's why I pushed him away. Now here he was. Standing right outside my door. I'm gonna tell him today, I thought, my face flushed red. I opened the door, "H-hey Zane.." I said shyly.
"Uh you okay? Are you sick?" he said looking into my eyes.
I blushed more.
"You're all red... I can go if its not a good time-" Zane said taking a step back
"N-no! Don't go,... I uh..." I interrupted grabbing his hand.
"... Gene?.." he looked down at our hands and blushed, barely visible under his mask.
I looked down and saw what he was looking at. I pulled my hand back immediately blushing intensely. "Uh.. Sorry I...." he looked at me with wide eyes. I ran up to my room.
"Wait Gene!" he called, but I didn't respond. I shoved my head into my pillow. YOU IDIOT WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT NOW HE'S GONNA HATE YOU!! I shouted in my mind fighting back tears. Just then I felt a gentle hand touch my back, and the sweet voice I love whisper in my ear, "Hey its okay, I feel the same way..."
I look up from my pillow into Zane's beautiful light blue eyes. "You like m-me?..."
"Yes, but there is one problem..." He said to me
"And that is?"
"W-what about Kc?... Or Zenix!.."
Zane said, doing that cute blushing that he did when he was nervous
"It's fine, they don't matter right now." I replied, pulling him close to me, our faces just barely kissing. Zane pulled me closer and passionately started making out with me, I started blushing so much that I could barely think.
