"Jace?" I scream. We were in the middle of watching the conjuring 2 and I was nearly crapping my pants. Jace said he had to go to the bathroom. "Jace?" I say again but no response. "Fudge." I say grabbing the remote control. "Jace this isn't funny." I say trying to see through the dark. I run over to the light switch but someone's hand is already there. "Jace?" I whisper. The person breaths heavily. It didn't look like Jace. He puts his arm around my neck. "Jace what are you.." before I finish the person throws me on the ground. "Times up." The person says grabbing out a gun. I scream as I feel a sharp pain in my chest. Everything goes black.

"Malena?" I hear a voice say. I groan. "Malena!" The voice says again. I jump up knocking heads with the person. "Jace?" I say looking at him rubbing my head. He rubs his head as well. "Sorry for waking you but you fell asleep while I went to the bathroom." Jace says helping me up. "Oh I must of been dreaming." I say. "About what?" Jace says trying to find the remote. "Well it was an intruder in the house and you were GONE and he shot me." I say. "Pretty wicked dream." He says. "Wicked?" I shout. "I would of died!!" I screamed. "Yeah I know. Wicked." Jace repeats. Instead of knocking him to the floor I play that type of game with him. I look at him and get my jumper. "What are you doing?" He says. "I'm cold." I say frostily. "I'll cuddle you." He says with his arms open. I ignore him sitting down. "Malena.." Jace begins. "Turn on the movie please." I say. "Malena?" He says. "Jace." I say. He turns on the movie and stares at me. I pretend to cry. I let a tear fall down my cheek and it falls on my coat. Jace sees and his eyes widen. "Oh my god.." jace says pausing the movie. I hide my face in my coat pretending to cry. "Malena I'm so sorry I didn't mean anything by that.." Jace says cupping my face. I start to laugh. "What the.." jace says backing away. I tackle him to the ground. "That's what YOU get." I say dusting off. "Clever chick." He says cupping my face again. I help him up as we finish the movie. "Wait do you hear that?" I say. "What is it?" Jace asks. "OMG do you hear the song?" I scream. I pause the movie and turn up my phone. "WHEN YOU SMILED OVER YOUR SHOULDER!" I sing. "FOR A MINUTE I FORGET THAT IM OLDER!" Jace sang. We snag normally for the rest of it but then we shouted when this pat came on "I WANT TO STAY WITH YOU UNTILL WE'RE GREY AND OLD!" We both sing. After the song finishes we lie down on the couch. "That was so much fun!" Jace says. "Hahaha the best song ever." I say. We both look at each other. "1 2 123..." Jace says. Then we both burst out singing "HOW WE DANCED ALL NIGHT TO THE BEST SONG EVER!" We both sang. "Alright let's finish this movie before it's morning, we have school tomorrow." Jace says. I groan. We press play on the movie and smile at each other.

"HOLY CRAP Malena! How am I supposed to sleep now???" Jace says. I move closer to him and hug him. "Is the baby scared?" I say. "Maybe." He smiles. "Can you sleep over?" He says. "My parents would be fine with it so it's all good!" I say. "We can both sleep on the couch?" Jace suggests. "Alrighty." I say lying down. He lies down next to me wrapping his arms around me. "Goodnight M" he says. "Goodnight J." I say. "Jace." I say. "Yeah?" He says groggily. "What if someone comes in. Like the nun from the conjuring?" I ask. "Then I'll protect you." He says holding me tighter. I smile. "Love you Jace." I say. "Love you too M." He says falling asleep. If your wondering Jace and i say that all the time. As like a friendly way. I really wish it was the other way.
