Chapter 1

My mom always told me, 'don't let anybody stop you from doing what you want to do' yes  very wise that woman is, yet she had the audacity to rip away from me what i wanted to do, and what is it the i wanted to do, well i wanted to turn the dam car around and return to my lovely home, snuggle under my blanket and read all day, but that would be quite hard, knowing now that my 'lovely home' has been sold and is no longer 'my home'

I currently sat in the back of my car  listening to Gnarls Barkley - Crazy drowning out my mother voice telling us how 'wonderful it's going to be in 'New York' and that 'we will get used to the weather'  i rolled my eyes all the way back knowing that the weather is the least of my worries even though i know its a big change from the weather in California,

I felt a nudge from my right, i turned my head and saw it was my brother axel, I gave him an annoyed look and turned my head back to the window ignoring him, i felt him elbow me in my arm, harder this time, earning a 'Mmph' from me 'what'! i yelled taking out my earphones, 'moms calling you' he said with an annoyed look i rolled my eyes and set my attention to my mom.

'what mom'? i looked at through the mirror and studied her, she looked tired and knew that i should do anything that will set her off. 

'we are going to stop to eat' she said not specifical'ly to me but to my brother and sister as well 'what do you guys want' 

I shrugged not really caring  'i don't care really as long as its not pizza' i said not really liking the idea of eating pizza anymore because its all we have eaten for the past few days i looked to my right to see axel crunching up his nose is disgust agreeing with me 

'Wendy's' my sister's voice Jessica came from the front seat she looked at mum for an approval

'fine' mum said with a tired look, she caught me staring at her through the mirror and gave me a tired smile, straightened her back and returned to making conversation.

'After we arrive at Wendy's we'd only have a few more a hours to arrive to 'New York' mum smiled and looked at us with excitement. I looked at my sibling and saw that they were trying to muster up a smile even though i know they weren't as found as getting there like me.

'there is a volleyball team in your new school' she continued looking at Jessica 'It's great, i checked it all out and they have 'potential' i rather think' mum old Jessica trying to lighten the mood, Jess grabbed mums hand and gave it a squeeze 'sure mum can't wait' she said flashing her pearly white teeth 

Truth be told i know Jessica doesn't fancy moving either, especially because shes leaving behind her volleyball team that she cherished a lot, but aren't we all, leaving behind something we love i mean, we might think its all ending for us right but in reality we are starting a new chapter in our life.
