Chapter 1- intro

Katie p.o.v

"Katie get your ass down here!"

I shot up from my bed put on a pair of pink sweat pants and a black baggy t-shirt. Trying to ignore the pain from the bruises from the previous night. I'm so rude let me introduce myself I'm Katie Oliver I'm 15 years old and in 3 days I finally shift for the first time and it's my birthday also the day I meet my mate . I rushed down the stairs and was met by a slap.

"Hurry up and make breakfast for the pack Katie!" my mother Elizabeth yelled

"You worthless piece of shit"

All I did is nod and head straight to the kitchen holding my burning ckeek. I got out the eggs, bacon, and sausage I did it as fast as I could but when your cooking for 234 pack members it's not the easiest thing. The other girls in the kitchen were rushing to, knowing the consequences if breakfast wasn't done on time.

"Where is our food bitch!"said the pack slut Alexa

"Don't talk to my sister like that slut!" defended my brother Jason.

Jason is the only person who would stand up for me other then my only friend Abby and her brother Alex.

"Thank you"I said to him

"Go get dressed I'm dropping you off at school" He replied

I quickly put the food on the plates and served it to the pack. I ran upstairs to my room also known as the attic. The attic is shared between all the low ranked wolfs and I so happen to be one of them. I Dressed in a blue tank top, black skinny jeans,black worn out vans and my black leather jacket. I ran down stairs to see Jason on his phone waiting.

"Ready"

"Yup"

We walked to his car and he drive me to my school North Wood High.

"Remember to call me if thing get to bad... kay Kat?"

"Yea ok Jay"

I walked to the entrance receiving glares from most of the pack. I finally made it to my locker being pushed into lockers and tripped didn't give me much time to get my stuff.

"Hey Katie" Abby and Alex said

"Hey guys " I said with a smile.

Alex and Abby are my only friends other then Jason but Abby and Alex are in the moonlight pack so I barley see them after school.

"Move it slut" Alexa yelled pushing me into the lockers

"Why don't you watch it before I brake your face whore"Abby yelled

"Who are you calling a slut? You have your legs open to any guy you see" Alex said holding Abby back

"Whatever geeks" she said running off

"She's such a bitch"

"Don't forget whore"

I just nodded my head in agreement. We rushed to get to homeroom on time before the warning bell rang.
